The Mist Ninja warships lay in pieces, strewn with wreckage, while a tremendous chakra enveloped the land.
An ominous aura emanated from the chakra in the sky.
A gigantic monster roared. At last, it had escaped its seal and could feel the freedom around it.
Raiga Kurosuki sat in a small boat not far away, holding Jinin Akebino. He grinned as he watched the Three-Tails destroy Kirigakure's warships, wincing at the sight.
But as he saw himself getting farther and farther from the island, joy took over. He looked around.
The Land of Water is still a long way off, and I'm the only one rowing. How long is this going to take? He glared at Jinin Akebino and slapped him twice.
Jinin Akebino slowly woke up and realized he was lying in a small boat.
"Now that you're awake, get up and row. I got you away from the enemy, and they attacked me. I might have internal injuries now, so you're taking over."
Jinin Akebino felt the pain in his face. It was as if someone had slapped him several times.
"Damn it!"
The Uzushio Ninja had beaten me and were still going to torture me.
"Raiga Kurosuki, thank you so much for rescuing me. When we get back to Kirigakure, I'll follow your lead."
Raiga Kurosuki held back a laugh and turned around. "Row faster. Watch out in case the Land of Whirlpools Ninja come after us."
Just then, Isobu's chakra began to gather in massive quantities.
"Tailed Beast Bomb!" A huge black sphere of densely packed chakra formed. Isobu swallowed it, then fired it as an energy beam that swept across the island.
Several small mountains were struck directly, sending rocks flying in all directions.
The high-density beam shot past just above Uzumaki Shori. He looked up at it and slowly drew in a breath.
As expected of a Tailed Beast, a weapon capable of serving as the ultimate weapon. I can't let the Three-Tails keep firing Tailed Beast Bombs recklessly.
At least it hadn't aimed at the Uzushio Ninja. They were exhausted, and they wouldn't stand a chance of escaping a Tailed Beast Bomb.
Uzumaki Shori used the Body Flicker Technique to appear directly in front of Isobu. Faced with the gigantic Three-Tails, he had no choice but to seal it. He formed hand seals.
"Sealing Jutsu: Adamantine Sealing Chains!"
Five Adamantine Chains rapidly wrapped around Isobu.
Isobu strained against the chains, and the ground shook violently as it pulled.
The Uzumaki Clan's Adamantine Sealing Chains were especially effective against Tailed Beasts. Seeing the chains tighten, it looked like the sealing might work this time.
Isobu curled up, and the enormous shell on its back began to fold around its body, gradually forming a sphere.

It began spinning at high speed. The Adamantine Chains scraped rapidly against the shell, sending out showers of sparks, and cracks began to appear in the chains.
Uzumaki Shori realized his Adamantine Chains were close to losing their grip on Isobu. He could only pour in more chakra.
But faced with Isobu's enormous chakra, he still couldn't keep hold of it. Isobu broke free of the Adamantine Chains.
The Adamantine Chains had failed to restrain Isobu.
"Shadow Caress" was even more powerful after Isobu broke free.
The heat generated by its rapid spinning distorted the air. Isobu charged straight at Uzumaki Shori.
He took a deep breath and formed hand seals.
"Earth Style: Ten Thousand Mile Earth Flow Wall!"
Drawing on his immense chakra, he used a jutsu that normally required several people to perform together. A gigantic earthen wall rose in front of Isobu.
But Isobu had built up tremendous momentum.
"Shadow Caress!"
Its spinning body smashed straight through the Earth Flow Wall before it, sending shattered boulders flying in all directions.
Uzumaki Shori used the flying boulders as cover, hiding nearby and waiting for his opponent's spin to slow.
After Isobu broke through the Earth Flow Wall,
it couldn't find its enemy. It stopped spinning and let out an enraged roar.
"Roar!"
This was exactly the moment Uzumaki Shori had been waiting for. He leaped straight onto Isobu's head and formed hand seals.
"Sealing Jutsu: Torii!"
Eight torii dropped from the sky, pinning down Isobu's four limbs, three tails, and neck.
Unable to move, Isobu was consumed by boundless fury.
Its chakra gathered densely once more, and a huge black sphere of energy appeared before Uzumaki Shori again.
He had anticipated this situation long ago. He formed hand seals and performed a communication jutsu.
"Ninja Art: Telepathic Communication Technique!"
He contacted the last Rocket Launcher Ninja unit hidden on the island.
The Group A Ninja waited by the rocket launchers for the Uzukage's orders. All the Ninja who had been stationed there wished they could be fighting at the front lines.
At last, a transmission came from afar. The Group A captain excitedly answered.
"Second Uzukage, you finally remembered us! Where should we fire the rocket launchers? Once we've launched them, we can go support the front lines."
Uzumaki Shori raised a hand to feel the wind and looked up at the sun before replying.
"Group A, three o'clock to the east, at a 27-degree angle. Fire immediately. Also, our battle with Kirigakure is already over. We won."
Hearing the Second Uzukage's words, the Group A captain immediately ordered his teammates to adjust the rocket launcher angles.
Once they had adjusted their aim, he finally processed what he'd heard. They had won their battle with Kirigakure! He was so excited he felt like he could fly.
"Group A, prepare! Fire the rocket launchers!"
The rocket launchers stood tall on the warships.
Twenty-four I-Beam Launch Rails were arranged in two staggered rows.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
They thundered one after another.
The rocket launchers shot into the sky in unison.
They soared into the air and began their second-stage burst.
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
The final two hundred rockets launched successfully, their tail flames streaking across the sky.
Jiraiya supported Uzumaki Muto, whom he had rescued from the Earth Style Barrier: Earth Prison Dome. Before he could catch his breath, he heard the distant rumbling and spotted the rockets in the sky. I hope the battle goes well.
Uzumaki Ashina struggled to undo the sealing jutsu on Uzumaki Shiro and watched as the two of them dropped out of the Sealing Scroll.
He checked them carefully and found they were still breathing, though only faintly. He finally let out a sigh of relief. Why did they have to make the sealing jutsu so complicated? I nearly couldn't undo it.
The rumble of the rockets reached him too. He looked up and sighed. I'd better focus on saving people first.
Tsunade was treating the wounded when she heard the explosions. She looked up at the sky and saw the rockets' tail flames streaking like meteors.
She silently prayed that Uzumaki Shori would defeat Isobu.
Uzumaki Shori finally saw the rockets coming through the sky. He had been waiting for them.
He looked down at Isobu, crouched beside it, and spoke into its ear.
"Isobu, your fate now depends on whether you can withstand the rocket barrage."
Then he stood and leaped away from the bombardment zone.
Isobu had no idea what was happening. It was still gathering chakra for a Tailed Beast Bomb, intending to blast away all the torii pinning it down.
But a sense of impending danger swept over it. It struggled desperately to break free of the torii seal.
The rockets traced arcs through the sky and struck Isobu, trapped on the ground, with pinpoint accuracy.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
