Background / History

Shori awakens as a transmigrated soul in the body of Uzumaki Ashina's son during Kirigakure's invasion of the Land of Whirlpools. He is the first person in Uzukage Hall to recognize Hozuki Gensei's infiltration, then shields his father with Adamantine Sealing Chains. 1

During the confrontation, Shori uses a Transformation Technique to approach Gensei and seals Samehada with the Four Symbols Seal. Gensei is forced to retreat, while Ashina collapses from chakra exhaustion. 2

With Ashina comatose and the clan in despair, Shori declares that Ashina appointed him the next Uzukage. The elders, guards, and Uzumaki Kyokei pledge allegiance, establishing him as the Second Uzukage. 3
