Saint Grade is the realm immediately below godhood. A Saint is powerful enough to be considered the overlord of a region, but becoming a Deity represents a much greater transformation than an ordinary increase in level 456 523 528.

Path to Godhood

• Divine Path development: Many Saints remain unable to become gods after long periods because their paths have not reached the heights of a Top-Tier Divine Path 550.
• Racial support: A Saint’s growth is described as almost inseparable from their race’s support, particularly its access to resources, special regions, and information 515.
• Demigod transition: Cang Yuan has already entered the path to godhood when he reveals his demigod status; he says he can no longer turn back to compete for supremacy among Saints 462.
• Equipment scaling: Divine Artifacts automatically raise their attribute-bonus limits when their wielder enters Saint Grade 512.

Distinction from the “Four Saints” and “Five Saints”

The numbered “Saints” of the Sacred Spirit Path refer to Sacred Spirit configurations, not the practitioner’s cultivation rank. Chen Ming attains the Five Saints while still in the Third Realm 501 502.

• Four Saints: The fixed foundation of Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, and Black Tortoise 501.
• Five Saints: Adds a fifth Sacred Spirit and marks the beginning of independently developing the path. Practitioners who achieve it are normally strong even among Saints 501 502.
• Six Saints: Reaches a standard comparable to a Top-Tier Divine Path, normally attainable by Supreme Saints or Deities 502.

Spirit Sources and Manifested Phenomena

Saint-Tier Spirit Sources correspond to the signature abilities of Saint Grade Class Changers. Their forms vary widely, including creatures, treasures, mountains, and lakes 298.

• Powerful Saints can unfold domains containing extraordinary manifested scenery, described as heavenly phenomena 298.
• Twenty Blood Race Saints jointly manifest giant beasts, waterfalls, and other phenomena resembling a complete small world 499.
• Phenomena differ by practitioner: Fu Yuntian uses divine rings and blazing suns, while Youye manifests black mist and chains 529 534.

Eternal Attributes

Saint-level practitioners demonstrate substantial Eternal attributes, though their exact strengths depend on the individual 443 501.

• Cang Yuan possesses 65% Eternal Defense, limiting Chen Ming’s effective Armor Piercing to 35% 443.
• Twenty Blood Race Saints activate Eternal agility abilities together, entering an Eternity-Level Domain during their assault on Chen Ming 501.
• Nine million world-class damage is identified as power normally achievable only by Supreme Saints following Top-Tier Divine Paths 497.

Survival Beyond Physical Death

Destroying a Saint’s body does not necessarily kill them permanently. Spirit Bodies and alternative survival methods make complete elimination difficult 531.

• Practitioners may escape in spirit or be reborn in another body 531.
• Definitive killing can require destroying the opponent’s soul rather than merely defeating their physical form 531.

Limits

• Ordinary Saints can be overwhelmed by Supreme Saint-level combat: the shockwave from Chen Ming’s clash with a Blood Race spiritual host suppresses nearby Saints and prevents them from using their abilities 528.
• Conventional understanding holds that even the strongest Saint cannot defeat the weakest Deity. Observers speculate that Chen Ming might eventually become an exception, rather than treating this as an established feat 528.

Organizations and Standing

• Sacred Court: Contains almost every Saint-level powerhouse across the heavens. Cang Yuan is acknowledged as his era’s greatest Saint because he stands strongest within it 548.
• Saint Grade Law Court: Most Human Race Saints participating in the Desolate Star Great Mist Campaign belong to this organization. Fu Yuntian serves as one of its commanders 529.
• Battle-zone assignments: Saints accompany trial participants to handle Saint Grade ancient beasts. Initially, they resist fighting lesser Miasma Beasts because those kills provide neither experience nor recorded battle merit 516.
• Political importance: A Saint’s death at the hands of a hostile race carries serious repercussions, contributing to the rarity of genuine death matches on the King Ranking 456.

• Great Mist Campaign: Conflict in the Chaos Star Domain escalates the Desolate Star trials into a Saint-level campaign, requiring Saints to confront ancient beasts and Blood Race opponents 515 521.
