Teach You How to Apologize

"Impossible! Even if I die, I will never apologize to the Uchiha!"

Listening to Shimura Danzō roaring away, Sarutobi Hiruzen felt helpless in his heart; it was just as he had expected.

Just as he prepared to open his mouth to persuade Shimura Danzō, he heard the voice of Masaki Uchiha ring out with a hint of delight.

"Since that is the case, then allow me to teach Elder Shimura Danzō how to apologize."

Masaki Uchiha stood up from his chair, his feet shifted slightly, and in a flash, he had moved directly in front of Shimura Danzō.

He extended a large hand, clamped it onto Shimura Danzō's face, and smashed him fiercely toward the ground.

The group immediately stood up, wanting to intervene, only to find they could not keep up with Masaki Uchiha's speed and were powerless to stop him.

"BOOM!"

As the dust settled, Masaki Uchiha was seen half-crouched on the ground, his hand still clamped tightly onto Shimura Danzō's face.

Poor Elder Shimura Danzō hadn't even had time to react before he was taken out by a single move from Masaki Uchiha.

Watching the scene before him, Shikaku Nara thought to himself: It seems the Uchiha are finally starting to fight back.

Masaki Uchiha slowly stood up, his gaze fixed on Shimura Danzō. "Oh my, Elder Shimura Danzō, I'm so sorry. I used too much force. My apologies."

Unfortunately, Shimura Danzō was already severely injured and unconscious, unable to hear those words; otherwise, he might have been angered to the point of vomiting blood.

If not for the fact that his chest was still rising and falling, Sarutobi Hiruzen would have already made his move.

"Masaki Uchiha, why did you attack Elder Shimura Danzō!" Sarutobi Hiruzen's expression was grim, his body tense and ready to strike at any moment.

Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura also snapped out of it and hurried to Shimura Danzō's side to check his injuries.

Thankfully, he was only unconscious, and they breathed a sigh of relief.

"Someone, take Elder Shimura Danzō to Konoha Hospital."

The Anbu outside, having heard the commotion, rushed in impatiently. Seeing the scene in the Hokage Office, they wisely kept their mouths shut, lifted the stretcher, and carried Shimura Danzō away.

"Masaki Uchiha, you openly attacked an elder of the village! Are you still going to say you aren't planning a rebellion?!" Utatane Koharu shouted sternly.

"Are the Third Hokage and the elders a bit hard of hearing? Didn't I just say I was going to teach Elder Shimura Danzō how to apologize?"

Masaki Uchiha was in a great mood. He had endured Shimura Danzō for so long, suffering because he couldn't find an excuse, yet here it was, delivered right to his doorstep.

"Since Elder Shimura Danzō doesn't know how to apologize, then as the victim of his false accusations, it is necessary for me to demonstrate how to apologize to him."

Looking at Masaki Uchiha's smug, slightly arrogant expression, it was as if he were mocking them, saying, "Come on, hit me then."

Seeing this, the Konoha F3 felt their frustration boil over.

"You!..." Utatane Koharu's chest heaved with anger; she wished she could fight him right then and there.

Mitokado Homura reached out to press down on her shoulder, shaking his head to signal her to look at Sarutobi Hiruzen.

Sarutobi Hiruzen's face was shrouded in smoke, making his expression unreadable, but the sheer volume of smoke indicated that his heart was far from calm.

He slowly exhaled. "Then, the case regarding the false accusations between Elder Shimura Danzō and Masaki Uchiha is hereby closed. From now on, neither party may use this incident as a reason to attack the other."

"You have no objections, Masaki Uchiha?"

Listening to Sarutobi Hiruzen's final, measured words, Masaki Uchiha felt nothing but disdain. He spread his hands and shrugged.

"Of course I have no objections."

"Fourth Hokage, you handle the rest. I am going to the hospital to check on Shimura Danzō."

"Koharu, Homura, let's go."

Minato Namikaze, who had been watching the drama unfold, simply nodded silently and watched them leave.

Third Hokage, why must you target the Uchiha? We are all ninjas of the same village; why go to such lengths? he thought to himself.

Thinking of how he still hadn't fully grasped the power of the Hokage, how his policies struggled to leave the Hokage Office, and how he was constantly constrained by the Third Hokage and the elders whenever he tried to do anything.

Sigh!

He let out a deep sigh internally. Forget it, I should talk to Masaki Uchiha.

He immediately looked at Masaki Uchiha with a serious expression. "Masaki Uchiha, let's have a proper talk now. Please, sit."

"I have long wanted to find an opportunity to talk with the Fourth Hokage, but unfortunately, I could never find the way in."

Hearing Masaki Uchiha's pointed remark, Minato Namikaze gave an awkward smile and rubbed the back of his head.

"That is entirely my fault. The administrative duties of the Hokage are simply too much. Recently, I haven't even been able to find time for the training grounds. I never expected being Hokage to be this difficult."

"Masaki Uchiha, I would like to ask: now that you are the Uchiha Clan Head, how have you arranged things for the former head, Uchiha Fugaku?"

"Fourth Hokage, rest assured. I know he and you are on good terms. From now on, Uchiha Fugaku will be the Deputy Chief of the Konoha Police Force. I certainly wouldn't let him sit idle at home."

Hearing this, Minato Namikaze felt a weight lift from his heart. "Thank you, Masaki Uchiha."

"Don't mention it, Fourth Hokage. Now that there are no idle people around, I happen to have a report for you regarding the upcoming reforms for the Police Force."

"In order to better serve Konoha, the Police Force has implemented the following reforms."

"We expect to increase the current force of 150 to 1,200 personnel."

"We will establish the Legal Department, Judicial Bureau, Procuratorate, Metropolitan Police Department, Tax Department, Logistics Bureau, Press Department, Special Operations Brigade, and Science and Technology Bureau."

"Each department will have a director and a deputy director, while the Special Operations Brigade will be under the direct command of the Police Force chief."

"Additionally, we will appoint two deputy chiefs of the Police Force to oversee the other departmental units."

"The positions of deputy chief will be held by Uchiha Fugaku and Uchiha Tetsuya."

"I shall serve as the chief of the Police Force. What does the Fourth Hokage think of this?"

Minato Namikaze was stunned. Expanding the Police Force to 1,200 people—what are you Uchiha planning?! To expand your power so blatantly, are you not afraid that the Third Hokage and the others will blow a fuse?

With such a massive expansion, how could the other ninja clans sit still? Konoha would surely be thrown into a panic! And have you even considered my position?!

I never imagined the Uchiha clan could field so many ninja. Is this the true strength of Konoha's premier clan?

At this thought, a bead of cold sweat trickled down his forehead.

"Ta... Masaki Uchiha, the number of recruits is too high. Not to mention my approval, even the Third Hokage would never pass this proposal. After all, adding 1,200 people involves a significant amount of stipends and supplies; the current Konoha does not have the capacity to support so many Police Force personnel."

"How about this: I will authorize an increase to 300 personnel for the Police Force, which Konoha can afford. What do you think?"

Masaki Uchiha did not answer the question, instead saying nonchalantly, "I hear that being Hokage is quite a struggle for you, Fourth. You only control a small fraction of the Anbu, and you cannot get a hand into any other departments."

"It seems the Third Hokage and the other elders are still quite ambitious despite their age."

"Since that is the case, the Uchiha clan is willing to lay bricks and tiles for Konoha and contribute our strength to the Fourth Hokage."

Upon hearing this, Minato Namikaze knew the real agenda was coming, so he replied earnestly.

"I wonder what kind of help the Uchiha clan can provide to Konoha. Of course, let's not mention the matter of increasing the Police Force to 1,200 people."
