Background / History

Long Zhibin built Thunder Dragon from nothing into one of No. 97 Settlement’s dominant factions. By the opening of Big Thunder Dragon, the organization had surpassed the other major powers in influence, supported by its security force, entertainment venues, and newly restored food-production line. He was regarded as one of the Settlement’s most intelligent, courageous, and promising faction leaders. 109 110

As General Manager, Long personally oversaw recruitment, training, resource distribution, and internal discipline. He recognized Chen Chong’s potential after the latter’s rapid rise, offered him a path into the Security Department, and personally explained the Second-Stage Breathing Method. At the same time, he placed Chen Chong under observation and monitored his movements closely. 50

Long’s conflict with the Skull Gang was a calculated campaign rather than a sudden dispute.
