Shisui Uchiha

Naruto snapped out of his thoughts. Without pretense, he stepped forward, took the clothes from Jiraiya, and began to try them on.

It had to be said that Jiraiya's taste was truly excellent. He had picked out three outfits for Naruto: a black-and-white casual set, a black robe, and a casual shirt paired with cropped jeans. After trying them on, Naruto found that they all fit perfectly.

Jiraiya paid the bill and led Naruto out. Since they were relatively close to the Land of Hot Water, almost all the inns and hotels here featured hot springs. After consulting Naruto, Jiraiya took him to the hotel with the best environment and booked a suite.

After dinner, in the hotel's hot spring, Jiraiya leaned against the edge, sipping wine, while Naruto, who had never soaked in a hot spring before, was splashing around in the water.

Watching Naruto choke on the spring water every now and then, Jiraiya asked with a smile, "Naruto, what do you want to do after peace comes to the ninja world?"

"I'll probably take Hinata Hyuga and travel around," Naruto replied earnestly after stopping his splashing to think for a moment.

Although he now had a plan to bring peace to the ninja world, implementing it and achieving success would take a long time. Moreover, there were only the two of them for now; Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, who were in the Sealing Space, had not been resurrected yet, so they couldn't be counted.

The initial funding for the plan was already secured; the supplies he had cleared out from that mountain stronghold were still piled up in the cave. The problem was the lack of manpower. The top priority was to find more people who truly desired peace in the ninja world to join the cause. Only with more people would things become easier to manage.

Hearing Naruto mention his past, Jiraiya sighed. It was truly hard on Naruto to have lived in such an environment. As he heard the rest, Jiraiya laughed and scolded, "You brat, of all things to learn, you learn puppy love from your old man and mom."

Naruto chuckled at this, then added, "Pervy Sage, there is something I would like to ask for your help with."

Jiraiya quickly replied, "Just say it, no need to be so formal."

"Well, I want you to return to Konoha in a while and, in your name, take me and Hinata Hyuga as your disciples. That way, you can bring us out of Konoha legitimately," Naruto said.

Jiraiya sighed and said, "Naruto, Hinata Hyuga is one thing, and you know I once said I would take you away, but Hiruzen Sarutobi never agreed. Even though I could force you both out, I could never bring myself to strike against Hiruzen Sarutobi."

"Don't worry, Master Jiraiya. I won't be returning to Konoha for revenge anytime soon. Besides, there will be others to deal with Hiruzen Sarutobi when the time comes. As for the reason to take me away, I've already found one for you," Naruto replied.

Hearing Naruto say this, Jiraiya's expression returned to normal. "Oh? Then tell me."

Naruto thought for a moment about where to start, then began. "Pervy Sage, after switching to my new cultivation method, there shouldn't be anyone alive in the ninja world who is your match, so there is some intelligence I can share with you. Where should I start?"

"Hmm, let's start with the Akatsuki. You should know about the Akatsuki, right?" Naruto asked.

Jiraiya nodded to indicate he knew.

Hearing these names, Jiraiya's expression turned grave.

"The rebuilt Akatsuki still desires peace, but their philosophy is different from when Yahiko was alive. Nagato's ideology changed because of Yahiko's death; he wants to suppress the entire ninja world through force, making people understand the difficulty of peace by making them feel pain."

Pausing for a moment, Naruto continued, "Actually, Nagato's Rinnegan was not awakened by him; it belonged to Madara Uchiha. He implanted the eyes into Nagato, and shortly after, Madara Uchiha died. Now, the Akatsuki has recruited several rogue ninjas. The two who fought me that day were members of the Akatsuki: one was a rogue ninja from Takigakure named Kakuzu, and the other was a rogue ninja from Yugakure named Hidan."

"Nagato killed Hanzo several years ago, and the Akatsuki's base is now in Amegakure."

Jiraiya remained silent after Naruto finished speaking. Seeing this, Naruto continued, "Pervy Sage, I'm not telling you this so you'll go to Amegakure now. I just want you to use the Akatsuki as an excuse to take me out of Konoha. Amegakure will have to be dealt with eventually, but not now."

Jiraiya looked up at Naruto, puzzled.

"The Akatsuki has been searching for clues about the Tailed Beasts. They want to use the power of the Tailed Beasts to achieve their goals," Naruto explained further.

Naruto stopped there, and Jiraiya understood. This was indeed a good excuse. He nodded and said, "In that case, I can legitimately take you out of Konoha. When shall we set off for Konoha?"

Naruto thought for a moment and said, "We have to go to the Land of Fields first. Before returning to Konoha, I want to find Orochimaru. That will save a lot of trouble."

"I have also received news that Orochimaru is indeed in the Land of Fields, but why are you looking for him?" Jiraiya asked.

Naruto looked at Jiraiya for a moment before saying earnestly, "To control him. My old man should have told you, right? Their bodies are currently in Orochimaru's hands, and I must get them back. The two then rose and left the hot spring. It was time for Naruto to begin his training, while Jiraiya intended to return to study the Encyclopedia of Artifact Refining.

Just as they returned to their room, the Shadow Clone that had been monitoring Shisui Uchiha suddenly contacted Naruto through Kurama: "Shisui Uchiha just escaped from the Root headquarters and is being hunted by Danzō and his men."

Receiving this news, Naruto immediately turned to Jiraiya and said, "Pervy Sage, we must return to Konoha immediately."

Seeing Naruto's serious expression, Jiraiya quickly asked, "What happened?"

"We must go back to save someone. Pervy Sage, do you remember what the person who fought me that day looked like?" Naruto asked.

Jiraiya nodded to indicate he remembered.

"Then transform into his appearance. Once we are back in Konoha, do not reveal your true identity. Also, spare Danzō's life this time; don't kill him yet," Naruto continued.

The two then performed the Transformation Technique. Jiraiya transformed into Kakuzu, and Naruto transformed into Hidan. Naruto checked them over; there were no flaws. After leaving a Flying Thunder God mark in the hotel room, he used the Flying Thunder God technique to transport himself and Jiraiya to the spot where he had left a mark at the exit of the Root. He then activated his sensory abilities to track Shisui Uchiha.

By this time, Shisui Uchiha had been chased by Root ninjas to the edge of a cliff and was surrounded, with Danzō standing at the very front.

After Shisui Uchiha's eyes evolved into the Mangekyo Sharingan and he awakened the ocular power Kotoamatsukami, he had reported the matter to the Konoha leadership. At that time, a large portion of the Uchiha Clan was dissatisfied with the village for assigning them to the outskirts and limiting their duties to the Konoha Military Police Force, so they had decided to rebel.

Not wanting to see war break out in the village again, Shisui Uchiha hoped to use the power of Kotoamatsukami to quell the rebellion.

Kotoamatsukami could be considered the strongest control technique; it could alter an opponent's thoughts without them being able to break free, and it only required looking at the enemy to activate. Originally, Shisui Uchiha had intended to use Kotoamatsukami to control Fugaku Uchiha, the organizer of the rebellion within the Uchiha Clan.

After reporting the situation to Shimura Danzō previously, Shimura Danzō had told Shisui Uchiha to go back and wait for orders. After Shisui Uchiha left, Shimura Danzō had sought out Hiruzen Sarutobi and the two advisors to discuss the matter.

In the end, they unanimously decided to annihilate the Uchiha Clan, a move that perfectly suited Shimura Danzō's appetite; his craving for the Sharingan had been festering for quite some time.

That very night, he summoned Shisui Uchiha. While Shisui Uchiha was off-guard and reporting on the internal affairs of his clan, Shimura Danzō suddenly lunged and gouged out Shisui Uchiha's right eye. Realizing then that the village had already made its decision, Shisui fought his way out of the Root headquarters.

However, because one of his eyes had been torn out by Shimura Danzō, he was eventually overtaken by the Root ninjas.

Cornered at this cliff, he decided to stake everything on one final gamble, for he had nowhere left to run.
