Xue Qinghe appears publicly as the Crown Prince of the Heaven Dou Empire. In this capacity, he meets Dugu Bo, Ning Fengzhi, Chen Xin, and Jiang He at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, where Jiang He’s Innate Soul Power of level twenty and two ten-thousand-year soul rings leave him stunned. 18

Behind the Crown Prince’s identity is Qian Renxue, the true Saintess of Martial Soul Hall. She considers Jiang He’s unprecedented talent alarming enough that a divine inheritance would seem easier to accept than his apparent natural potential. 21 30 31

After learning of Jiang He, Xue Qinghe immediately reports to Emperor Xue Ye and argues that the empire must recruit him rather than eliminate him.
