Formation and Absorption

• Interrupting a high-level ring absorption can cause irreversible meridian damage. Failing to endure a Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beast's mental shock can also leave the absorber mentally incapacitated. 14
• Conventional first- and second-ring age limits are stated as 423 years and 764 years respectively; exceeding them normally risks the user's body being unable to withstand the ring. 12

Internal Structure

The Auxiliary System identifies a Soul Ring as an external appendage of a Soul Master's body containing its own meridian pathways. Releasing a Soul Skill consists of circulating Soul Power through these ring-contained meridians. 28

• Ring meridians convert and amplify Soul Power into a specific Soul Skill effect. Berserk returns its power as continuous bodily enhancement, while Stomp converts it into a spreading shockwave. 28
• A ring's pathways contain only the meridians needed for its skill, allowing Soul Power to circulate automatically with less waste than reproducing the same route inside the user's body. 29
• The System deduces that older rings possess more numerous, thicker, and more complete meridians, accounting for the greater power of their Soul Skills. 29
• Directly reproducing ring pathways within the body is possible but inefficient. Jiang He's imitation of Berserk initially produced only 40% amplification; raising it to 60% required twice the Soul Power consumption of the actual ring skill. 28

Relation to Martial Soul Avatar

• The System deduces that the seventh Soul Ring integrates the meridians of the preceding six rings, forming a more complete network that acts upon the Martial Soul. 29
• This integration allows Martial Soul Avatar to strengthen the user and enable freer use of prior Soul Skills. 29
• For most Soul Saints, the forced integration damages the rings' meridians, causing post-Avatar weakness and preventing seventh-ring use for three days. 29
• At the Title Douluo level, nine fully developed rings can support Martial Soul Avatar without this weakness, allowing continued Soul Skill use until Soul Power is depleted. 29

Associated Soul Bone

• Dark Gold Scaled Wing — An External Soul Bone acquired during Jiang He's third-ring absorption. It cannot be removed because it is connected to both the Soul Ring and the user's body. 40 43
