"It's complicated," Shisui said. "The Third Hokage, Danzo, and the Council of Elders have all been in Konoha longer than the Fourth Hokage. They also have many supporters under them, so their power can't be underestimated. They haven't handed over all their authority to the Fourth Hokage, so Danzo might not obey his orders."
Naruto realized that being Hokage wasn't as carefree as it seemed. "Big Brother Shisui, what did you do to make Danzo want to kill you?"
Shisui blinked. "I don't have much time left. Tonight, I'll settle things within the Uchiha Clan once and for all." He didn't answer Naruto's question directly, because he felt Naruto didn't need to know so much.
A child should be allowed to stay a little more innocent.
Naruto thought to himself, Shisui, hurry up and use Kotoamatsukami. I don't know exactly what it does, but I have to complete the mission.
"Big Brother Shisui, you'll definitely succeed." Naruto gave Shisui a little nudge.
Shisui smiled faintly and took two boxes of instant noodles from the cupboard. "Are you hungry? It's the only food in the house."
Naruto glanced back at the window. "Big Brother Shisui, night has fallen."
That was right! The night was dark, but the moon was bright.
Shisui decided to act that night.
He used Fire Release to boil water. It was quick and the heat was just right, so the noodles were ready in no time, filling the room with a mouthwatering aroma.
Naruto polished off the noodles in a few bites with his fork.
Shisui asked gently, "Want to come with me?"
Naruto nodded. "Of course. Let me put on my blue head covering first, then I can watch you show off, Big Brother Shisui."
Shisui burst out laughing.
Beneath the moonlight, some people plotted while others slept. The Uchiha Clan was perfectly peaceful.
Under the moonlight, Shisui opened his Mangekyō Sharingan and used Kotoamatsukami.
Uchiha Fugaku had just finished rallying his people, telling them not to submit to Konoha's Hokage. With the Uchiha Clan's pride, they could become true shadows. They had to fight for greater benefits for the clan.
Before long, the looks in their eyes changed. Shisui had altered their subconscious and shaped a new will.
The Will of Fire Shisui had learned from the First finally revealed its true power.
The Uchiha and Konoha could share the same bright future.
Blood flowed from Shisui's eyelids, and a faint pain came over him. "Naruto, has the moonlight been covered?"
"Big Brother Shisui, your eyes look just like someone from the Hyuga Clan now." Naruto felt a little sad. He hadn't expected Shisui to pay the price of going blind.

"Big Brother Shisui, if you're happy, then it'll all have been worth it," Naruto said.
The two walked alongside the moonlight, free of all burdens.
"Goodbye, Big Brother Shisui."
Uchiha Shisui was learning to sense his surroundings with chakra. "Be careful on the way, Naruto."
As soon as Naruto left, Shisui used the Body Flicker Technique and awkwardly crashed into the wall.
Shisui wiped his face. Hopefully, nobody saw that.
Following the route he remembered, Shisui struggled to make his way to the Third Hokage's office.
Hiruzen Sarutobi nervously tapped the ash from his cigarette. "Shisui, is that you?"
Shisui pushed open the door and bowed deeply. "Lord Third Hokage, Kotoamatsukami was successful. The Uchiha Clan won't do anything to harm the village. Please give the clan a chance to change."
Hiruzen Sarutobi painfully helped Shisui to his feet. "Your eyes?"
Shisui was a gentle person. "It's all right. I overused my ocular power. I've gone blind, but my heart is still bright."
Hiruzen Sarutobi said sorrowfully, "My boy, you've suffered!"
Shisui smiled. "Lord Third Hokage, Danzo can't be trusted."
Shisui calmly told him about Danzo's ambush. Though this wouldn't completely sever the Third Hokage's ties with Danzo, at least it would keep him from joining forces with him.

In a dark corner.
A sinister cackle rang out.
"Danzo, long time no see." The newcomer had long black hair, golden vertical pupils, purple eyeshadow extending along his nose so that his eyes and nose seemed to blend together, pale skin, and blue-green tomoe-shaped earrings on both ears. He moved like a snake.
Danzo unwound the bandages on his right arm, revealing eleven Sharingan embedded in the white skin. His expression was savage. "Orochimaru, I have some news for you. Someone in Konoha isn't affected by genjutsu. Judging by his build, he looks like a child, no older than seven. He also knows strange taijutsu and the Rasengan. Would you be interested?"
Orochimaru was already intrigued. "Sounds like a perfect body. Danzo, do you know who it is?"
Madness gleamed in Danzo's eyes. "Minato Namikaze's son, Uzumaki Naruto."
"That's a good boy," Orochimaru said, running his tongue over his lips. "Danzo, how are you finding Shin's arm?"
Danzo sneered. "Uchiha Shisui awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan. He used the powerful genjutsu Kotoamatsukami to stop the Uchiha Clan's rebellion. Our plans have failed."
Orochimaru didn't care in the slightest. "Shisui is a good boy too. The power of the Sharingan truly is wondrous. Danzo, lie low for now. The Uchiha Clan's fate was decided long ago. Even if Konoha doesn't act, someone stronger will."
"Is that so? When?" Danzo asked, unwilling to accept it.
But Orochimaru's figure had already vanished into the darkness, leaving Danzo's question unanswered.
The night passed slowly.
"Minato, it's rare for you to have a day off. What are you rummaging around for in the kitchen?" Kushina Uzumaki had just finished putting away the dishes when she heard a clatter of searching from the kitchen. "Minato, answer me."
Minato Namikaze was bent over. "Kushina, you haven't seen Uchiha Mikoto in a long time, right? I thought we could all get together at her place, and Naruto could meet some new friends too."
Naruto sat on a stool, still eating an egg. "Dad, I have lots of good friends."
Kushina Uzumaki walked into the kitchen and took a bottle of sake from the corner. "Is this what you're looking for?"
Minato awkwardly rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah! You said we were visiting a friend. Wouldn't it be impolite to show up without a gift?"
