Background / History

While refining divine origin in the Asura Palace, the Asura God sensed an abnormal fluctuation of Heavenly Dao power in the lower realm and noticed Tang San's destiny declining. His divine sense investigated the Purple-Gold Marriage Contract above Martial Soul City, but the contract repelled even a probe backed by thirty percent of his divine power. He concluded that its owner was at least above the God King level. 10

Despite this warning, he dismissed Shen Yichen's betrothal gifts as mortal trinkets and viewed Hu Liena as a target to be eliminated. He also regarded Tang San as a useful successor: by pushing Tang San to complete the Sea God inheritance, he intended to use the newly ascended Sea God to test Shen Yichen, then eliminate whichever side survived. 34 36

When Hu Liena received the Tribulation-Avoiding Garment, the Asura God increased his planned Divine Punishment to ten-tenths intensity, storing triple-strength Purple-Black Divine Thunder in the Asura Blade. He promised Tang San protection upon his ascension while secretly treating him as a chess piece. 36

After Tang San became the Sea God, the Fate-Suppressing Cauldron continued to restrain his fate. The Asura God abandoned his earlier timing and personally sent cross-realm Divine Punishment to kill Hu Liena, remove the cauldron's master, restore Tang San's fortune, and stabilize Tang San's divine position. 42

The Tribulation-Avoiding Garment's Three-Legged Golden Toad devoured the attack completely. Shen Yichen retaliated with Purple-Gold Divine Lightning, shattering the Asura God's Divine Armor, damaging his Godhead, destroying half of the Asura God Hall, and leaving a wound that his own divine power could not heal. 45 46

Unable to confront Shen Yichen, he withdrew from direct action and warned Tang San to stop provoking Shen Yichen and Hu Liena. When Tang San later demanded intervention, the Asura God struck him, rejected the idea that Shen Yichen was an ordinary mortal, and forcibly sent him back to the lower realm. 51 65 66

Tang San's death forced the Asura God to reassess the conflict. Fearing further retaliation against the God Realm, he convened the God Realm Committee, ordered an envoy to seek peace in Martial Soul City, and ultimately accepted Hu Liena's conditions, including a public apology from the God Realm. 74 76

Personality

The Asura God is proud, calculating, and ruthless. He initially treats lower-realm lives as pieces in a larger strategy, intending to exploit Tang San's ascension and kill Hu Liena to restore Tang San's fortune. 36 42

He is easily provoked when his authority is challenged. Hu Liena's protective treasures and Shen Yichen's intervention repeatedly turn his confidence into rage, particularly after his Divine Punishment is swallowed instead of killing its target. 45

His pride ultimately yields to self-preservation. Though humiliated by his defeat, he recognizes that Shen Yichen's power exceeds his understanding and chooses restraint, peace negotiations, and acceptance of Hu Liena's demands rather than risk the God Realm's destruction. 46 74 76
