Background / History

Vegeta informs Frieza of the Dragon Balls after his defeat, prompting King Kai to warn Goku and Sun Wuxiu that Frieza's arrival would endanger the universe 52. On Namek, Frieza personally enters battle after the Ginyu Force is wiped out. Piccolo can initially match his First Form, but Frieza transforms into his Final Form when he realizes the Dragon Balls are being used without him 62 63.

Frieza's pursuit of immortality fails when the Dragon Balls disappear before he can make his wish. He battles Goku and Sun Wuxiu, but Sun Wuxiu repels Frieza's planetary-scale energy sphere with a tenfold Kaioken Kamehameha, leaving Frieza injured 64 65. Frieza is later defeated; after his death, Goku and Piccolo discuss the special Other World punishment reserved for souls considered irredeemably evil 68 284.

Twenty years after the battle on Namek, Frieza is resurrected amid the planet's still-ruined landscape. He accepts Shenron's teleportation request to Earth, intending to settle his grudge against Sun Wuxiu, only to find himself surrounded by former enemies and stronger Saiyans 423 424.

Following another period of intense training, Frieza returns to Earth with vastly increased strength. Black Frieza overwhelms them both, but Jiren exposes the form's heavy stamina drain and defeats Frieza, forcing him back into his Final Form 465 468.

Rather than accept defeat, Frieza attempts to destroy Earth and take everyone with him. The attack fails, and Jiren captures him; Beerus then spares Frieza only because he still needs someone to perform planetary-destruction work, forcing him into the Universe 6 tournament 469 471 472.

Appearance

Frieza is a compact alien with a sleek, white-and-purple body in his Final Form. His later transformations alter his coloration rather than greatly increasing his size.
