Yun Ming routinely retrieves Shrek Academy's inner-court students during examination periods, treating their return as a matter of Shrek's honor. When Su Jiu's side demanded a 100,000-year Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum for five captives, Yun Ming refused and declared that his Sky-Propping Spear had never known defeat. 1

Su Jiu redirected a long-range Flame Demon Roar shot toward Long Yeyue, severing her right arm within Sea God Island. Yun Ming's spiritual power could not locate the attacker, and Ya Li was unable to treat the Ultimate Fire and Destruction damage. 1 2

Enraged, Yun Ming confronted Su Jiu's clone and nearly attacked Leng Yaozhu while demanding proof of the clone's innocence. The arrival of Qiangu Dieyan, Qiangu Dongfeng, and Qiangu Qingfeng—combined with the return of his sniper-warning instinct—forced him to compromise: he recovered the captives in exchange for a ten-thousand-year Singular Velvet Sky Chrysanthemum. 2

Sea God Family Crisis

After receiving a fabricated emergency call concerning Ya Li, Yun Ming rushed to the Sea God Family conflict. His arrival manifests as a thousand-meter silver-white spear and immediately drives the Demon Empress to flee, ending the wider battle. 13 16

At the ruined wedding hall, Yun Ming finds Ya Li unharmed and thanks the War God Temple personnel who protected her. He later agrees to Su Jiu's demand for immortal herbs after Su Jiu's account of saving Ya Li is corroborated. 17

Defeat by Leng Wuduan

Yun Ming confronts Leng Wuduan during the auction dispute, demanding that he kneel at Shrek Academy's gates and surrender the Dark Hummingbird. When challenged, Yun Ming employs his Air Prohibition domain, only to find that Leng Wuduan and the Void Sharp Bee Sentries are unaffected. 22

During their aerial battle, Yun Ming activates his Heaven-Propping Avatar and repeatedly uses Space-Breaking Divine Spear to destroy every sentry supporting Void Leap. He ultimately strikes only the empty Phantom Night Wanderer armor; Su Jiu then severs Yun Ming's right arm and forces his surrender by aiming Flame Demon Roar at his brow. 23

Ya Li later persuades Su Jiu to remove the lingering Ultimate Fire and Destruction elements from Yun Ming's severed arm and limbs. The arm is reattached, though some coordination issues remain. 24

Damaged Spear and Changed Priorities

When Su Jiu fires Flame Demon Roar with three soul rings active, a second shot hits the Sky-Propping Spear from thirty-three kilometers away. The damage destabilizes Yun Ming's martial soul, causes him to lose flight, and threatens the origin of his spear until Su Jiu removes the destructive elements. 38 39

The loss to Leng Wuduan leaves Yun Ming deeply despondent, with Ya Li believing that his once-unshakable Dao heart has cracked. His attention shifts when Ya Li reveals her plan for them to have a child. 42

Within three months, Yun Ming and Ya Li achieve their wish through a visit to Universe Inquiry Valley. Yun Ming is feminized and becomes pregnant, an experience that gradually lessens her former obsession with power. 55 56
