Background / History

Na'er was created by Gu Yuena as one of two sub-personalities meant to help carry out the Silver Dragon King's plans. Unlike Gu Yue, Na'er embodies Gu Yuena's humanity; both were originally subject to Gu Yuena's control and could be treated as expendable avatars 44.

A-Jiu, a Void Hornet Sentry Clone, accidentally entered Na'er's underground palace after a failed self-destruction attempt. Na'er sealed it in place with spatial laws, and the two developed a familial bond over nearly a decade. Even after her memories were sealed, she retained the memories connected to A-Jiu 3 5.

After Su Jiu exploited her trust in A-Jiu to offer food and secure a three-year “child bride” agreement, Na'er began living with the Leng Family. Leng Yaozhu eventually accepted her as a younger sister, giving Na'er a home outside the Star Dou Great Forest 6 7.

Her failed martial soul awakening initially devastated her. Two and a half years later, she recovered her memories as Gu Yuena, departed with Di Tian, and separated from Gu Yue at the Lake of Life. Following that separation, she returned to Su Jiu's side by her own choice and declared her wish to become his wife 31 32.

Na'er later learned that Su Jiu was A-Jiu, the companion she had trusted since childhood. His support became central to her desire to become independent from Gu Yuena rather than remain an avatar whose life could be dictated by another 36 42 44.

During the events on Devil Island, Na'er's soul was separated and placed into a newly forged body. She inherited the Life God Position and, after awakening, openly severed ties with Gu Yuena in favor of the Leng Family 86 88.

Na'er is a small silver-haired girl with large amethyst-like eyes. Her timid manner and easily flushed face often make her appear gentle and harmless, though she becomes visibly fierce when protecting food, A-Jiu, or her place in the Leng Family 6 11 36.

Personality

Na'er begins as shy, trusting, and exceptionally dependent on A-Jiu. She is easily persuaded when food is involved, but she also possesses a sincere kindness: she tends Leng Yulai's injuries despite the latter's resentment and later tries to support Gu Yue's wish for freedom 19 66.

She is highly food-motivated and competitive over meals, particularly when others attempt to take what she considers hers. Her affection for Su Jiu develops from reliance and gratitude into a possessive devotion; at her lowest point, she imagines keeping him secluded so that he can never leave her 10 24 49.

Na'er's defining goal becomes self-determination. Gu Yuena's insistence that she is merely an expendable avatar drives Na'er to reject the identity imposed on her. By the time she gains an independent body, she is willing to confront Gu Yuena directly and choose the Leng Family as her only home 36 44 88.

Na'er first forms her strongest attachment to A-Jiu after the sentry becomes trapped in her underground palace. That bond allows Su Jiu to draw her into the Leng Family, where she gains Leng Yaozhu as an elder-sister figure and begins calling Su Jiu her “child-husband” 3 6 7.

Return to Su Jiu

After recovering memories as Gu Yuena and separating from Gu Yue, Na'er initially leaves with Di Tian. She later overcomes her hesitation, returns to Su Jiu, and openly chooses to become his wife 31 32.

Eastsea Academy

Na'er joins Su Jiu's Class Five at Eastsea Academy, trains alongside Tang Wulin, Xie Xie, and Gu Yue, and rapidly develops both soul power and spear intent 49 51. She later remains part of Zero Class during the group’s break from the academy 66.
