Background

After Martial Soul Hall's fall, Xie Yue settled into village life more successfully than Yan, becoming familiar with the residents of Black Stone Village while concealing his unresolved ambition. When Qian Yu offered him the chance to pursue a different future, Xie Yue declared that he would abandon everything for even a one-in-a-billion opportunity. 14

Among the former Golden Generation, Qian Yu initially regarded Xie Yue as having the weakest martial soul quality and talent, but valued him most for his temperament, composure, and capacity to adapt.
