Background / History

Yu Xiaogang cultivated a reputation as the “God Teacher” through his soul-master theories. He used that standing to request three Ten Thousand Year Soul Bones from Martial Soul Hall on behalf of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, retaining the oldest and most valuable bone for himself. Yu Tianxin publicly exposed this conduct, causing Yu Xiaogang to lose his composure and intensifying conflict within the clan. 52

After the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan was nearly destroyed, Yu Xiaogang became its leader and demanded compensation from the Heaven Dou Empire. He accused official Ge Long of hiding the clan’s ancestral Soul Bones, threatened war, and sought the Golden Earth Dragon King’s hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring and Soul Bones for his own advancement. 87 88

He had a child with Liu Erlong, but after repeated failed searches, he placed his own ambitions above the missing child. His public declaration that he would unite forces to find the child briefly restored Liu Erlong’s trust. 92 93

Yu Tianshu later attacked him after being driven into rage by mental manipulation, rejecting Yu Xiaogang as his father and naming Flender as his only father. The assault left Yu Xiaogang severely injured. 103

While recovering, Yu Xiaogang discovered that his injuries had left him a eunuch. He initially relied on a poor boy who cared for him, then murdered the boy and burned his home to destroy evidence once he could move again. He pinned his hopes for physical restoration on Tang San, Immortal Herbs, and eventual access to the God Realm. 106 107

Yu Xiaogang’s relationships with Liu Erlong and Flender finally collapsed after his acknowledged infidelity and the failure of their Martial Soul Fusion Skill. Liu Erlong disowned him as Liu Kunsheng’s father, while Flender chose to stand with her. 116 119
