Shen Ye stroked his chin; for the ninjas of Iwagakure, the forest was far from an ideal battlefield.

However, since Wu Tian had chosen this location, he must have had his own reasons.

Minato nodded, put some distance between himself and Shen Ye, and dashed toward Wu Tian's position through the woods.

Shen Ye felt a flicker of surprise. This guy must have had some kind of extraordinary encounter; otherwise, he could never possess such immense reserves of chakra.

Minato and Tsunade closed in on Wu Tian almost simultaneously, their fists hammering straight toward his head.

Wu Tian curled his lips, suddenly looking up at Shen Ye. His lips moved without making a sound, and then he vanished from where he stood.

He actually told me that he would end everything himself? What on earth does that mean?

Shen Ye had read Wu Tian's lip-reading, but at that moment, the fists of Minato and Tsunade were about to collide.

"Sister Tsunade, pull back your strength quickly, or Minato will definitely be sent flying by you!"

"Got it!"

At the critical moment, Tsunade contracted the muscles in her fist, sealing her chakra within her arm.

The fists collided without a sound, and Minato let out a deep breath, looking like someone who had just survived a catastrophe.

If he had truly been hit by Tsunade's full-force strike, Minato would likely have been sent flying into mid-air, with half his body shattered to pieces.

Minato stood not far from Shen Ye and threw two shuriken marked with seals, but Wu Tian dodged them easily, and they embedded themselves into the tree trunk behind him.

Shen Ye pushed off the ground with all his might and charged at Wu Tian. Tsunade tried to stop him, but it was too late; in the blink of an eye, Shen Ye was in front of Wu Tian.

He swung his fist toward Wu Tian's chest. Wu Tian let out a cold snort and didn't move, letting the fist land squarely on his body.

Even with strength as great as Tsunade's, the blow landed on the blue light and failed to stir even the slightest ripple.

Seeing this, Tsunade leaped to Wu Tian's side and attacked in the same manner, attempting to divert his attention.

Minato took the opportunity to run behind Shen Ye and, using all his strength, yanked him out of the predicament.

Looking at the blazing pale blue light surrounding them, Jiraiya knew this would be a tough battle that could not be ended in a short amount of time.

More and more ninjas from Konoha joined the fray one after another, with over a dozen of them surrounding Wu Tian.

Shen Ye and Minato exchanged a glance before sitting down against a wooden stake, watching the brilliant battle while recording these combat techniques in their minds.

Suddenly, Wu Tian broke through the encirclement formed by Tsunade and the others, charging rapidly in the direction of Shen Ye and Minato.

"Shen Ye, watch out! That guy is heading toward you two!"

"Let him come. We aren't the type to be caught so easily. Flying Thunder God!"

Shen Ye grabbed Minato's shoulder with one hand and immediately cast the Flying Thunder God, his body vanishing from the spot with a swoosh.
