Before this, Tsunade had never seen Shen Ye use a ninjutsu like this. In her memory, only the Second Hokage could perform it.

People in later generations had learned a few things about the Flying Thunder God Technique by studying ancient texts, but no one had ever truly mastered it.

"What kind of ninjutsu is that? Did he just travel through space? I'm not seeing things, am I?"

One question after another rose from the ranks of Konoha's shinobi, but Wu Tian soon silenced them with a furious roar.

"You two cowards who know nothing but running away! I know I won't make it out of here in one piece, so I'm taking a couple of you down with me!"

Wu Tian lightly tapped the ground with his right foot, spun in midair, then continued chasing after Shen Ye's position.

But by now, Tsunade and Jiraiya had had plenty of time to react. He had no chance of getting anywhere near Shen Ye and Minato.

Surrounded by Konoha's shinobi once again, Wu Tian was clearly struggling to keep up. His chakra had been burning for so long that he was beginning to run out of strength.

"Earth Release: Rock Lodging Destruction!"

Wu Tian rapidly formed Hand Seals. The ground around them began to tremble, and enormous boulders tore free and hurtled toward every Konoha shinobi.

"Sage Art: Needle Jizo!"

Jiraiya's long white hair instantly expanded, shielding all the Konoha shinobi beneath it. Minato and Shen Ye were protected as well.

The rocks struck the iron-hard hair and shattered, crumbling into pebbles that rolled across the ground.

Taking advantage of the moment, Wu Tian turned and charged toward Shen Ye. He still couldn't let go of his urge to kill the two youngsters.

Shen Ye had already been holding back his anger. Seeing Wu Tian charge straight at him sent him into a fury.

"So you really do think I'm an easy target. Now I'll show you what a king's wrath feels like."

Feeling Shen Ye's mood, Minato's desire to fight flared. He pulled several shuriken from his pouch and hurled them at Wu Tian to buy a little time.

"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"

Shen Ye gathered all the chakra in his body in his mouth, took a deep breath, then exhaled a huge ball of fire. It erupted just as it was about to hit Wu Tian.

The sky brightened in an instant as the flames roared. Wu Tian pressed forward, forcing his way out through the fire beneath a blue glow.

Seeing this, Jiraiya hurriedly blew a gust toward the flames. The strong wind fed the fire, completely engulfing Wu Tian.

"Earth Release: Earth Prison Dome!"

Stones fell from the sky in a steady stream, landing in the flames. They clumped together to form a protective shell around Wu Tian.

Shen Ye frowned. After releasing so much chakra, this guy could still use a ninjutsu several times stronger than his own. He had to find a chance to steal it.

For a moment, time seemed to stand still. Everyone stared into the fire until the flames slowly died away.

Wu Tian leaped up, breaking through his protective shell, then swooped toward Shen Ye.

"Strength of a Hundred, Partial Multi-Size Technique!"

In the blink of an eye, Shen Ye's fist grew enormous and swung at Wu Tian in midair. Combined with Strength of a Hundred, the blow tore through the air with a series of sharp cracks.

Tsunade stared at Shen Ye in a daze. She hadn't realized that the younger brother she had always wanted to protect had grown so strong.

Even shinobi from the Akimichi Clan needed a long time to master the Partial Multi-Size Technique, yet Shen Ye could already use it with ease.

Wu Tian had no way to dodge the enormous fist in midair. It hit him squarely.

"It worked! I hope that hit badly wounded Wu Tian. Better yet, I hope it finished him off."

"You're all so naive. If I could be beaten so easily, then I would've wasted all those years hiding in the village."

Wu Tian's words stirred deep confusion in Shen Ye. Now that he had deserted Iwagakure and become a rogue shinobi, why had he been hiding in Konoha?

If he hadn't intended to send information back to his village, there would have been no need for him to endure all that humiliation just to stay here.

Jiraiya and Tsunade had the same question. They both stopped what they were doing and watched Wu Tian warily.

"You've already become a rogue shinobi, so what were you after in Konoha? What was worth hiding here for so long?"

"That's my secret. If I told you, I'd worry that every one of you would betray Konoha and go looking for the truth."

"The truth? What truth?"

"Go find it yourselves! Hahaha!"

Wu Tian was utterly defiant and had no intention of revealing his purpose.

"Once we capture him, Ibiki has plenty of ways to pry his mouth open. Then we'll learn everything about him."

"Come and try."

"Shen Ye, Minato, stay ready to deliver the finishing blow at any moment!"

"Got it!"

"Yes!"

Tsunade and Jiraiya closed in on Wu Tian at the same time, while the other Konoha shinobi each took up their positions, ready to close the net.

They had been fighting for so long that Wu Tian's body was already on the verge of collapse. He was barely holding on through sheer force of will.

Shen Ye spread out his Chakra Perception. Everyone's figure appeared in his mind, and their movements seemed to slow several times over. He could easily predict what each of them would do next.

Tsunade attacked first, engaging Wu Tian in close-quarters Taijutsu once again and gradually forcing him toward the ground.

Jiraiya worked with Tsunade to guide Wu Tian toward the trap they had prepared.

Wu Tian had no desire to play along with them, but he realized he had already lost control of the fight.

"Shen Ye, now!"

"Partial Multi-Size Technique!"

Shen Ye's arm suddenly grew enormous, and he grabbed Wu Tian just before he hit the ground.

The blue glow around Wu Tian's body was nearly depleted. He couldn't force Shen Ye's giant hand open and could only struggle wildly.

"Good work. We can finally take this guy back."

Both Tsunade and Jiraiya smiled with relief.

Minato drew a deep breath. He was already looking forward to resting at home for a few days and taking in everything he had witnessed during the battle.

Jiraiya unrolled the enormous scroll on his back and lightly bit his finger before pressing it against the scroll.

"Sealing Technique!"

A force of suction emerged from the scroll. Wu Tian shouted as his body twisted and was sucked inside. Jiraiya then rolled it back up and put it on his back.
