Background / History

Qian San was born during Qian Xunji’s flight from the Haotian Hall. His mother, A-Dong—the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Spider Emperor in human form—sacrificed herself shortly after his birth to save Qian Xunji. Father and son subsequently lived in Soul Saint Village while Qian Xunji hid from his pursuers and recovered from severe injuries. 1 2

In his previous life, Qian San was a Tang Sect disciple. As a child, he secretly practiced Tang Sect methods including the Purple Demon Eye, Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, and Mysterious Jade Hand; Qian Xunji recognized the techniques but accepted rather than rejected his son’s secrets. 2 8
