World in Turmoil
Sang's sudden melancholy was perplexing, but Zul'ra didn't give him a chance to ask questions. Instead, he suggested forming Warchief's personal guard. Thrall readily accepted Zul'ra's suggestion and bestowed upon this guard the name: Kor'kron.
Although the Kor'kron has only just been formed, the necessary preparations have been made. Zul'ra has even prepared the manpower for Amani'lai, Cairne Bloodhoof has also spoken to them, and Old Bull has agreed. Now, only Darkspear hasn't agreed yet, and that's something Thrall has to say to him.
Thrall wasn't shy at all; he immediately sent a letter to Vol'jin in Sen'jin Village, explaining the establishment of the Kor'kron Kor'kron its significance. He had originally intended to mention that Zul'ra and Cairne Bloodhoof had already agreed to it, but after thinking about it, he decided to omit that part.
If we were to reveal that Zul'ra and Cairne Bloodhoof had already agreed to form the Kor'kron, it would certainly feel like we'd already reached an agreement and now we just needed you to join, but it would also feel somewhat coercive, and even more so, like we'd conspired behind your back to exclude you.
Thrall had absolutely no intention of rejecting Vol'jin, nor did he want Vol'jin to misunderstand him. Therefore, in his letter, he wrote that the reason for the establishment of Kor'kron was that Zul'ra had proposed it for the greater good of the Horde, and that he was seeking Sanra's opinion. His wording was very tactful.
Vol'jin has a gloomy personality like ordinary Trolls, and he also has an arrogant and somewhat racist aloofness. He doesn't get along with Zul'ra, and he looks down on weak humans.
Despite his reclusive nature, Vol'jin held Thrall and a portion of the Orcs, and even the Tauren, in genuine respect. He also felt a strong sense of belonging to the Horde, which offered assistance in times of crisis.
Because of his affection for the Horde, Vol'jin quickly replied to Thrall, expressing his willingness to support the formation of the Kor'kron and to select powerful Warrior to serve the Warchief. He also proactively requested the Kor'kron's assistance.
Because of the formidable nature of the Witch Doctor Zalazane, the Darkspear Trolls are becoming increasingly powerless in their efforts to reclaim their homeland. However, even in their current predicament, Vol'jin is unwilling to seek help from Orgrimmar or Thunder Bluff, let alone the Amani. But the newly formed Kor'kron have given him a new option.
Since the newly formed Kor'kron included members of the Darkspear Trolls, it was acceptable for Vol'jin to involve the Kor'kron in the war to reclaim the Darkspear Trolls homeland. Furthermore, he believed that since he had agreed to Thrall's establishment of the Kor'kron and protected the Warchief's authority, the Warchief should at least give him some reward.
In short, the reasons were varied. Vol'jin asked Thrall for help, and Thrall readily agreed, instructing Saurfang to quickly organize his forces. The Kor'kron had always needed to find an opponent to test their strength.
Zul'ra didn't care much about how the Kor'kron would fight to retake Darkspear Islands. After Thrall picked up the Orgrimmar matter again, he prepared to return to Ashenvale, but Thrall temporarily kept him there. Meanwhile, letters kept arriving from the Eastern Kingdoms.
In the nearly two years that followed, Zul'ra tirelessly worked for the newly formed Horde in Kalimdor, while the Scourge roamed freely across the Eastern Kingdoms, and the Amani'lai remained steadfast in their own small territory.
Before leaving the Eastern Kingdoms, Zul'ra appointed Broken-Tooth as the administrator of all Amani forces in the Eastern Kingdoms, and Broken-Tooth performed this task very well. While the Lordaeron was in chaos, Zul'Aman and Jintha'Alor were in harmony.
Despite the harmonious environment, although Zul'ra took many adults with her, Amani's business empire in the Eastern Kingdoms remained prosperous.
Compared to the thriving Amani, both Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas can only be described as shrouded in gloom and despair.
Because of Zul'ra's instructions, Broken-Tooth has been keeping a close eye on the Quel'dorei Quel'Thalas, or rather, the Sin'dorei, who are also the Blood Elves of Quel'Thalas.
Before Zul'ra arrived in Kalimdor, Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider of the Sin'dorei led his army to Lordaeron, hoping to join forces with the remnants of the Lordaeron army and seek their help. But as Zul'ra had predicted, his idea was far too naive.
Kael'thas rushed over to the Lordaeron without having finalized any alliance arrangements, claiming it was to provide support, but in reality, it was to ask for help. However, the Lordaeron were barely able to take care of themselves, so how could they help the Blood Elves? As a result, Kael'thas was met with a cold reception.
Originally, the remnants of Lordaeron's army, having preserved a sliver of strength, would have merely been given the cold shoulder. They wouldn't have bothered to make enemies with the remaining Sin'dorei. But, by sheer coincidence, Kael'thas encountered a demon star, Illidan, who had fled from Kalimdor to the Eastern Kingdoms.
Illidan maintained his consistent two-faced style. During the Battle of Mount Hyjal in Kalimdor, in the name of Tyrande Whisperwind, he killed the Dreadlords Tichondrius, who had corrupted Felwood, and took the Skull of Gul'dan from him, absorbing its energy.
After killing Tichondrius, Illidan attracted the attention of Kil'jaeden, another leader of the Burning Legion, and was dispatched by the Great Demon to eliminate the the Scourge, who had betrayed the Legion.
Faced with the powerful Kil'jaeden, Illidan did not shamelessly back down. Instead, he led the Naga who were supporting him and the Watchers were pursuing them, and fled all the way to the Eastern Kingdoms.
Illidan also landed on the Broken Isles, where he obtained an artifact from the underwater graveyard. This led to his pursuit of Naisha and other Watcher, who encountered Zul'ra's fleet there, resulting in a conflict.
Leaving aside the side quests on Naisha's side, Illidan rushed all the way to the Eastern Kingdoms and used the artifact he retrieved to cast a spell in the ruins of Dalaran, shattering the glaciers of Northrend from afar, hoping to eliminate the Lich King as Kil'jaeden instructed.
Given Illidan's reckless actions, the fate of Northrend and even the entire world was in grave danger. Fortunately, Archdruid Malfurion and High Priestess Tyrande, who had followed closely behind, stopped him and ended the powerful spell.
The artifact shattered on the spot, and Illidan was captured, but ultimately, due to some unexpected events and Archdruid Malfurion's consideration for their brotherhood, Illidan was released.
Illidan left the Azeroth, but before he left, he inadvertently saw some distant relatives in the ruins of Dalaran, namely Kael'thas and the Blood Elves who had supported humanity.
The Blood Elves attracted Illidan's attention. To escape Maiev the Watcher's relentless pursuit, he left the world via a portal, but left behind the Naga witch Lady Vashj.
Illidan ordered Lady Vashj to inquire about the situation of the Blood Elves Blood Elves and to seize the opportunity to subdue them, because he needed troops to fight the Legion, and the other races were not enough to train Demon Hunter, and there were too few Night Elves following him, and not all of them were by his side, so he could only try to use Blood Elves to supplement his forces.
