He's Just a Child

The commoners glared at Uchiha Qingcheng, shouting, "You evil Uchiha Clan, don't you dare come back here, get lost!"

Qingcheng looked at the indignant crowd and said sternly, "Why not? This is our former home. What right do you have to stop people from returning home?"

An older commoner immediately roared, "It was your Uchiha Clan who manipulated the Nine-Tails and killed the Fourth Hokage! We don't want to live with you!"

This compound is located on Konoha's main shopping street. Many of the shops belong to the Uchiha Clan, so these commoners are probably trying to be difficult.

They don't want to acknowledge that they're renting Uchiha properties, and they're not planning to pay rent. This is a commercial street, and every storefront here is incredibly valuable.

Qingcheng suspected someone was secretly stirring up trouble, intentionally provoking a conflict. He looked at Sasuke and gently said, "You're still a child. If someone won't let you go home, what should you do?"

Sasuke immediately charged forward, punching and kicking the commoners, even using the Uchiha Body Slam. After a flurry of thuds, more than a dozen shop owners were disheveled and sprawled on the ground.

Qingcheng said sternly, "If you want to continue doing business, then get your rent ready. I'll be collecting it from each of you tomorrow. If anyone hasn't paid, I'll take your daughters as collateral."

The bald man angrily said, "You're letting ninjas attack commoners! I'm going to complain about you to the Third Hokage! You'll be arrested and sent to the Police Force!"

Qingcheng heard the shop owners' threats and wasn't flustered at all. He said sternly, "Go ahead and complain! The one who hit you was Uchiha Sasuke. He's just a child, not a ninja. Aren't you ashamed, a bunch of grown men, being beaten by a seven-year-old?"

Sasuke looked at Qingcheng's expression, then charged forward again, punching and kicking the bald man, using the Uchiha Body Slam.

Thud, thud, thud sounds rang out as the bald man's face became covered in lumps.

Qingcheng watched Sasuke's Uchiha Body Slam and thought to himself, So your Uchiha Body Slam is a passive ability, huh? Even Urashiki suffered because of this move.

Soon, members of the Konoha Police Force arrived at the Uchiha Clan compound. Seeing the people on the ground crying and holding their heads, they immediately shouted, "Stop right there! Don't you know ninjas aren't allowed to assault commoners?"

Qingcheng simply spread his hands and said with a smile, "Where are the ninjas? Who here is a ninja?"

A Police Force member pointed at Uchiha Sasuke, who was still throwing punches, and angrily retorted, "He's attending the Ninja Academy, so he's a reserve ninja!"

Qingcheng said sternly, "Sasuke is only seven years old. He's just a child. He won't graduate until he's twelve. Do you think he's Kakashi, who became a Jonin at thirteen?"

The Police Force members all said, "Even so, you can't hit people, especially not so many. Come with us!"

Qingcheng said with a smile, "Those unscrupulous merchants blocked our Uchiha Clan's gate, so we couldn't go home. Is this still the Uchiha Clan compound, or has even the Third Hokage's word lost its meaning?"

Qingcheng then said sternly, "We were blocked from going home by these people, and now you're turning it around on us? When our Uchiha Clan was in charge of the Police Force, we were known for our fairness and impartiality!"

Qingcheng pointed at the leading Police Force member and said sternly, "Look at yourselves. You're completely biased. Are you worthy of the title 'Police Force member'?"

These words made all the Police Force members sweat. The leading squad leader reluctantly said, "Then you two stop fighting for now. I'll report today's events truthfully to the Third Hokage."

Qingcheng then called out, "Sasuke, stop for now. Don't dirty your hands."

Sasuke heard Qingcheng's words and threw one more punch. With a thud, the bald man lost several front teeth, looking utterly miserable.

Sasuke said sternly, "All of you, get out! This is our Uchiha Clan compound! The Uchiha Clan hasn't been wiped out yet!"

The merchants and shop owners hugged their heads and left. The one who had been beaten the worst was now drenched in cold sweat, staggering down the street.

Qingcheng smiled again and said, "Remember to tell the Third Hokage for me to issue a statement: that as of today, I am taking over as the head of the Uchiha Clan."

Qingcheng added, "And a second thing: send all the Uchiha Clan's assets to me. Even the Konoha higher-ups can't seize everything, can they?"

The Police Force squad leader said sternly, "Understood, Uchiha Qingcheng. We'll go report immediately."

With that, more than a dozen police members walked towards the Hokage's office.

Qingcheng looked at the long-abandoned compound and pushed open the Uchiha Clan's gate. Immediately, a wave of decay washed over him.

No one had lived here for six years. Some people had approached Uchiha Fugaku to discuss buying the Uchiha Clan compound, but they couldn't agree on a price, and it always fell through.
