Angron knew very little about this world—based on the information the Treefolk had provided, he could only come to one conclusion.
He had to be careful.
The Treefolk had hidden nothing, telling him everything it knew. This was a world where many powerful beings existed, and in some inscrutable way, it even had a slight connection to He Shenyan.
And that slight connection had become the key to saving him.
The Lord of the Red Sands lifted his leg and walked forward. He did not move quickly, but he was careful enough. Enormous trees blotted out the sky and sun, completely obscuring even the view above. The ground was unbearably muddy; without the aid of his Magnetic Boots, he probably would have had a hard time.
There were many wild animals in the forest, and one kind seemed likely to be the dominant species here. They were a kind of giant bear, even much taller than Angron.
Fortunately, these giant bears were not stupid. They could sense the brutal threat radiating from Angron. Without him needing to drive them off, they made way of their own accord, not even daring to come close to him.
About half an hour later, he finally walked out of this vast Gloomy Forest. What appeared before him was a broad plain, its soil fertile and its wild grass lush. And yet it seemed somewhat strange.
The analysis function of his helmet had long since been activated, yet it had not detected any trace of human presence. Logically speaking, land this fertile should have attracted many herdsmen—Angron could see those sheep leisurely grazing, but not so much as half a person.
A moment later, he raised his head and gazed at the enormous tree far on the horizon. He lifted a hand to feel the
