A moment later, Minato Namikaze's expression grew slightly serious.

Seeing this, Obito immediately stepped forward and asked nervously, "Sensei, is Rin all right?"

Minato Namikaze's expression shifted, and he forced the gentlest smile he could manage.

"She's fine. I examined Rin's seal carefully."

"As long as she doesn't... doesn't harbor those extremely negative thoughts, the seal will have almost no additional effect on her."

Hearing this, Obito felt much more at ease.

Guy, however, sharply caught the fleeting gravity deep in Minato Namikaze's eyes.

"Looks like even Minato Namikaze can't remove the seal on Rin's heart."

Guy sighed inwardly.

On the surface, it seemed harmless.

But the more one thought about it, the more frightening it became.

Since when did Kirigakure have a sealing master of this caliber?

The sealing array they had set up could not even be completely removed by Minato Namikaze!

"Sensei, that seal..."

Rin herself asked anxiously.

"Perhaps your mistress can try. Her understanding of the Uzumaki Clan's sealing techniques runs deeper."

"But for the time being, it would be best if you two didn't meet."

A trace of disappointment appeared on Rin's face at those words.

Obito was the same.

He had long wanted to see Kushina, but the circumstances did not allow it.

Seeing this, Minato Namikaze's signature gentle smile returned as he comforted them. "Don't think too much about it."

"The war is about to end."

"Once we return to Konoha, there'll be plenty of chances to meet."

"Huh? The war's about to end?"

Both Obito and Rin froze for a moment.

Minato Namikaze merely smiled without explaining.

Then, he had Rin lie down on a cleared table.

Minato Namikaze rapidly formed hand seals.
