Class Reunion

Inside the barbecue restaurant.

Everyone knew each other, and the atmosphere quickly became lively.

More than a dozen people sat around a long table made by pushing several tables together, taking up one large corner of the barbecue restaurant.

Charcoal crackled in the grills.

Slices of meat sizzled as fat bubbled from them, their aroma filling the air.

At first, everyone ate, drank, and joked around together.

But later on—

The overall mood began heading in a rather strange direction.

On one side:

Obito eagerly grilled meat for Rin.

Looking at the plate piled high with grilled meat before her, Rin wore a helpless expression.

While saying she could not eat anymore, her eyes secretly drifted toward Kakashi.

Plate after plate, Ebisu picked meat for Anko.

Anko accepted everything without hesitation, wolfing down one plate after another!

One ate happily, while the other grilled happily.

Genma was unusually bold as well, peeling shrimp for Shizune.

Shizune thanked him softly and did not stand on ceremony.

Yet she seemed somewhat distracted, her gaze fixed in a certain direction with a hint of melancholy.

Yugao and Hayate were even less concerned about everyone else's stares.

The two of them were disgustingly lovey-dovey.

You fed me a bite of grilled meat, and I fed you a sip of juice.

It was unbearable to watch!

Even Guy, that thick-browed fellow, was whispering something to Kurenai in a corner.

Making Kurenai giggle nonstop.

Their bodies intentionally—or unintentionally—drew closer and closer.

By the end, they were practically stuck together.

Yet the two of them "seemed not to notice" and continued whispering sweetly to each other.

One moment, you would "accidentally" brush against me.

The next, I would "unwittingly" brush against you.

Neither of them called it out.
