Kibito laughed. "You mere mortal may know about that sword, but no Supreme Kai has ever been able to pull it out. Do you really think you can?"

"How would you know if you don't try? Come on, let me see it. I'll put on a show for you. Seriously, I'll broaden your horizons." I shot back. Kibito was naturally furious, so he used Instant Transmission to take us to the place where the Z Sword was embedded.

I immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 and pulled it out in one go.

Then I instantly broke the Z Sword in half.

Kibito and Shin's jaws dropped. The Z Sword had been pulled out just like that, then broken just like that. "That was a family heirloom!" Kibito shouted.

At that moment, an old man's voice came from behind us.

Of course, we all introduced ourselves afterward.

Old Supreme Kai said, "Sigh, I thought some powerful Supreme Kai had pulled it out. I never expected it to be a human. Huh, and a Saiyan, too."

Wei Dong sat down, and Old Supreme Kai began circling around him.

Son Goku decided to stop holding back. He transformed into a Super Saiyan 3 and beat Cooler into pieces.

Son Goku understood what was going on. He scattered Cooler once more, then finished him off perfectly with a Kamehameha.

Son Goku and Vegeta collapsed to the ground, exhausted, while Biro deactivated his Kaio-ken.

But suddenly, a huge crowd appeared, marching toward Son Goku in row after row.

When Son Goku and the others could finally make them out, they were stunned. Row after row of Metal Coolers. How were they supposed to fight that? What was the point of fighting at all?

Though they complained, Son Goku and the others immediately transformed into Super Saiyans, while Biro activated his Kaio-ken again.

Back on the Sacred World of the Kai, Old Supreme Kai had already sat down. But Wei Dong spoke up. "Old Supreme Kai, don't try to fool me. You sat down way too quickly. I remember that your potential-unlocking ritual takes a long time."

Old Supreme Kai looked astonished, apparently wondering how Wei Dong knew. He had no choice but to bring out his true skills.

Meanwhile, Son Goku, Vegeta, and Biro had already been

taken to the laboratory.

They saw Cooler there, reduced to nothing but a head. Then, just like in the original story, they exchanged greetings before trading insults, and Cooler began draining the Saiyans' power.

But this time, Son Goku and Vegeta went all out. "Cooler, if you want to absorb our power, then we'll give you all you can handle!" Vegeta transformed into a Super Saiyan 2, and Son Goku powered up to Super Saiyan 3.

Cooler panicked. "No! Don't! Stop! Do you want to die?"

"No! Don't! I'm going to explode! No..."

In the end, the spaceship exploded, and Namek was saved. But the Grand Elder had died while resisting Cooler's attack, so they could only use Earth's Dragon Balls to bring him back.

Earth's Dragon Balls had been upgraded many times, and now they could grant three wishes.

One wish was to revive the dead Namekians, another was to repair New Namek, and the third was to reinforce the planet's durability.

As for Vegeta—or rather, Tragedy Vegeta—he wasn't as carefree as Son Goku. He was still working hard to improve himself, though he was basically living off Bulma while pretending to be the provider. He had Dr. Brief research a spaceship with even stronger gravity. Wei Dong had to admire him for that.

Vegeta seemed to have changed his goal from raising his base power to mastering Super Saiyan 3 first.

The Vegeta in the original story hadn't done that. He seemed to have given up on it very early.

Perhaps the original Vegeta had tried it too, but gave up. I didn't know.
