"How did they die?" Wei Dong asked, puzzled.
Trunks answered, "It was the Saiyans. A devil among them named Broly. My father and the Z Fighters went to a planet, but I didn't go with them, so I was the only one who survived. After Broly killed my father and the others, he came to Earth and killed Uncle Tien Shinhan, Uncle Chiaotzu, Uncle Krillin, and the rest. I was beaten half to death. Uncle Tien Shinhan led him away, trading his own life for mine." At that, Trunks began to cry.
"I see. It was the old Broly from the movie. The difference in the story was that Trunks didn't go, so Son Goku lacked a little strength and couldn't beat Broly. They also couldn't stall until the comet hit."
"So, Trunks, why didn't you go to Namek to revive your father?"
