It wasn't that Wei Dong wanted to choose this option. The others just weren't reliable. How could Trunks possibly beat Broly? Besides, in this world, Piccolo and the Namekians were already dead. Where were they supposed to get the Dragon Balls to bring Son Goku and the others back to life? And as for killing Trunks, I'm not that kind of person. The real reason was that the Dragon Fist didn't seem very useful.
But for now, Broly's power level was at most a little over 20 billion. After all, Majin Buu hadn't appeared in this world yet, so Broly couldn't possibly be stronger than him. But Broly didn't seem to be at a disadvantage. He and Wei Dong traded blows evenly. That was the strength of his bloodline. When Wei Dong's fists hit Broly, Broly didn't even seem to feel it, while Wei Dong felt as if his own fists were about to shatter.
Still, Wei Dong wasn't in a hurry. Why not spar with Broly? This was a Legendary Super Saiyan, after all. When their power levels were close, Broly was practically impossible to kill—a punching bag that wouldn't go down. Of course, Broly couldn't beat Wei Dong, but Wei Dong could still be killed.
