"Yes, you are a Namekian," Wei Dong said confidently.
"Oh, I see. I always felt like I didn't quite fit in; so I am a Cosmic Being," Kami sighed, lost in thought.
Kami slowly opened his mouth and said, "Son Goku was killed by Piccolo five days ago. Piccolo and Goku teamed up to fight Raditz, but Goku sacrificed himself."
Oh man, if I had known, I wouldn't have bothered with that mission. It's so ridiculous. If I hadn't, Son Goku wouldn't have had to die, Wei Dong thought to himself.
Then, Wei Dong spoke up, "Then, Kami, where is he training? Could you take me there?"
Kami replied, "Only the dead can go there. I don't know if a living person can make the trip."
Wei Dong said to Kami, "It's fine, Kami. Just take me there. If it doesn't work out, I'll just sneak in."
Kami nodded and took Wei Dong to Otherworld.
Without asking a single question, Wei Dong bypassed everything and ran straight onto Snake Way—that's just how Wei Dong rolls.
On the way to King Kai's Planet, he met Son Goku.
After Wei Dong introduced himself and explained where he came from, he traveled with Goku. Since Wei Dong had a high combat power of 2,628, he carried Goku and arrived at King Kai's Planet in no time. Once they arrived, they began their training. Goku wasn't used to it, but Wei Dong was different; he had already undergone gravity training, so it was much easier for him than for Son Goku.
Three months later, Wei Dong began learning the Kaio-ken. Goku was still a bit early, as King Kai said Goku needed another two months.
Wei Dong didn't really care; it hadn't even taken him a month to travel Snake Way with Goku.
With a combat power of 1,500, it had taken him over ten days to reach King Kai's Planet (so those who don't believe it can re-read the original). They had been laughing and chatting along the way, and only four months had passed so far. At this rate, Vegeta might really become "Tragic-ta." After mastering the Kaio-ken, King Kai didn't seem to mention the Spirit Bomb to Wei Dong, but he didn't care. Perhaps King Kai felt Wei Dong wasn't as righteous as Son Goku, but the truth was, Wei Dong didn't even care for the Spirit Bomb.
Wei Dong brought out his Spaceship and went inside to train under gravity.
He began training at 30 times gravity.
Four months later, Goku had learned the Kaio-ken and the Spirit Bomb. Only seven months had passed, and Goku's combat power was already over 7,000.
Wei Dong's power was just over 80,000, and he could already withstand the 8-fold Kaio-ken, meaning his maximum combat power was over 640,000—which was plenty for now.
Another month passed, and Son Goku was very proficient with the Spirit Bomb, though King Kai suggested he enter the Spaceship to train with Wei Dong.
Wei Dong's combat power was at 90,000, so he decided to relax, set the gravity to 20 times, and came out to let Goku go in and train.
With a combat power approaching 8,000, Goku could easily handle Vegeta. So, before Goku went in, Wei Dong told him, "Leave the Saiyan alive if you can. After all, there are very few of us Saiyans left; we're almost extinct."
Goku agreed, saying, "I'll spare him once, but if he tries to harm the Earth again, I will kill him."
It was only nine months in, so there was still plenty of time. He went to discuss the Kaio-ken with King Kai, constantly asking how to increase the multiplier.
However, Wei Dong felt it didn't do much for him, so he asked the system if there were any missions in Hell.
The system said yes, so Wei Dong went off to do missions. The rewards were System Coin, and the missions involved finding escaped prisoners or just beating them up. Since people in Hell couldn't die, they often bullied the administrators.
Is there no justice? Is there no law? There is only System Coin.
Time flew by, and when there was less than a day left before the Saiyans arrived on Earth, King Kai finally remembered.
After Goku came out, Wei Dong immediately went to retrieve the Spaceship—he didn't want to forget it. Over those three months, he had earned 12 System Coin. By the time Wei Dong and Goku flew over, some of the Z Fighters had already died; Yamcha and Chiaotzu had kicked the bucket. Just as Tien Shinhan was about to use his Tri-Beam and die, Wei Dong rushed up and fed him a Senzu Bean. It was a system mission: save a righteous ally for 0.5 System Coin. You have to understand, that 0.5 System Coin was incredibly important.
Then Wei Dong flew away and watched them from afar. Goku asked, "Wei Dong, aren't you coming with us? You're so powerful, it should be easy for you."
