Background / History

Kakashi is the son of the White Fang of the Leaf. He graduated from the Ninja Academy at age five, became a Chunin at six, reached Jonin at twelve, and developed the A-rank technique Chidori. He was also Obito Uchiha's teammate, a connection that continues to weigh heavily on him. 3

Following the Uchiha clan massacre, Mufeng Uchiha asks Kakashi to teach him ninjutsu because of his relationship with Obito. Moved by the surviving Uchiha brothers' loss and viewing instruction as a chance to atone for failures involving Obito, Rin Nohara, and the Fourth Hokage, Kakashi tests Mufeng and Sasuke through tree climbing and water walking before accepting them as students. 3
