Background / History
Mufeng Uchiha was the first child in the village willing to spend time with Naruto. He also treated Naruto to meals and helped provide necessities such as clothes. When Naruto heard about the Uchiha massacre, he went to comfort Mufeng and Sasuke 3.
Training with Kakashi improved Naruto's endurance. In an Academy practical test, he outlasted Kiba Inuzuka in a half-hour fight, then lost to Sasuke in the next round. Naruto remained encouraged because his training had paid off 5. He later failed the graduation exam's Clone Technique, stole the Scroll of Seals, and learned the Multi Shadow Clone Technique from it. Mizuki's revelation about Naruto's connection to the Nine-Tailed Fox did not break his resolve; Mufeng intervened when Mizuki attacked him 37 38.
Naruto joined Sakura Haruno, Sasuke, and Mufeng on Kakashi's four-person Team 7. On their Land of Waves mission, he struggled with the sight of their first dead enemies but continued training and fighting alongside his teammates 39 43 47.
