He followed Hiruzen to the Hokage Office.
Hiruzen pointed to a workspace beside his desk. "That will be your office from now on."
"In a few years, when I can no longer keep working, you can take this seat."
Hiruzen patted his chair.
Leaning against the window, Yeyu said calmly, "You should keep working hard. I'm not interested in this position."
Hiruzen smiled. "You can learn to take an interest. I want to train you to become Hokage not only because of your strength, but also because of your mindset."
"I've always been a good judge of character. You may not be interested in anything, but when you have no choice but to shoulder some responsibility, you'll do it."
"Even if you don't like it."
Yeyu glanced at Hiruzen but said nothing.
Hiruzen patted Yeyu on the shoulder. "Don't worry. You're still young, and you won't have to shoulder this burden anytime soon."
"All right, let me test your chakra nature."
Hiruzen took out a piece of Chakra Paper.
"This Chakra Paper can reveal your chakra natures."
"There are five basic chakra natures. Jutsu that match your own chakra nature are much easier to learn."
"Here, channel some chakra into it. Don't use too much. Just a little."
Hiruzen handed Yeyu the Chakra Paper.
Yeyu also wanted to know which chakra natures he had now.
So he channeled chakra into the Chakra Paper in his hand.
In an instant, the paper changed.
In fact, five different sections changed.
One section became wet, another burned, a third crumbled into dust, a fourth wrinkled, and the last was sliced into several pieces.
Yeyu paused. "Does that mean I have all five chakra natures?"
He had gained Akainu's power, but he was still surprised to find that he had all five chakra natures.
Hiruzen's mouth twitched. "That's enough to make anyone jealous. You have all five chakra natures."
Hiruzen also had all five, but Yeyu was a taijutsu ninja.
Could his talent for ninjutsu be as exceptional as his talent for taijutsu?
If so, that really was something to envy.
Yeyu asked, "You have all five elemental chakra natures too, don't you?"
Hiruzen nodded. "That's right. Having all five is very rare. The Second Hokage had all five as well."
"Other than him and me, you're the only one in Konoha with all five."
Yeyu wasn't surprised at all.
"Even with so many chakra natures, you can only really specialize in one or two."
Hiruzen looked surprised. "I didn't expect you to see it that way, but you're right. Even with all five chakra natures, you'll always focus on one or two."
"For example, I know jutsu of the other natures too, but my specialty is Fire Release."
"The Second Hokage specialized in Water Release Ninjutsu."
Yeyu didn't know much about the Second Hokage.
He only knew that the Second Hokage was skilled in Water Release Ninjutsu and the Flying Thunder God Technique.
He hadn't known that the Second Hokage had all five elemental chakra natures.
Hiruzen asked, "Which nature do you plan to focus on?"
Yeyu thought for a moment. "Fire Release and Earth Release."
Hiruzen looked surprised. "You chose the same ones I did."
Yeyu had chosen Fire Release and Earth Release because he possessed the powers of the Magma-Magma Fruit. In this world, the closest equivalent to those powers was Lava Release.
And Lava Release was a Kekkei Genkai formed by combining Fire Release and Earth Release.
That way, Yeyu wouldn't need to come up with an excuse whenever he used the Magma-Magma Fruit's powers.
The power of Lava Release in this world, however, was nowhere near the same level as Yeyu's Magma-Magma Fruit powers.
But that didn't matter at all. Yamato's Wood Release wasn't on the same level as the First's, either.
As it happened, Hiruzen was also highly skilled in Earth Release and Fire Release.
Earth Release was used for support, while Fire Release provided firepower.
"Besides the five elemental natures, it's best to learn one or two forbidden jutsu."

Hiruzen took Yeyu to the Hokage Archive.
The archive held decades' worth of records from Konoha, including information about jutsu.
Yeyu looked through the collection and picked out a few jutsu. He had no intention of choosing too many.
Hiruzen nodded, pleased with Yeyu's choice.
"Five-Fold Rashomon, Gate of the Great God, and the Flying Thunder God Technique. Just these three?"
Holding the three scrolls, Yeyu said, "That's enough. Besides, all three are extremely difficult to learn. I might not be able to master any of them."
All three jutsu were S-rank in difficulty.
Yeyu wanted to test how good Akainu's learning ability was.
