Tailed Beast Ball

Hiruzen Sarutobi quickly ordered the Anbu to hold back the rampaging Naruto and Menma. Meanwhile, Jiraiya handed a talisman to Kakashi.

"Kakashi, we'll each handle one of them. Wait for the right moment and stick the talisman to their foreheads. That'll suppress the Nine-Tails Chakra instantly," Jiraiya said.

"I understand, Lord Jiraiya." Kakashi took the talisman Jiraiya handed him and fixed his gaze on the Anbu Ninja closing in to hold off the Nine-Tails.

Seeing this, Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly shouted, "Flying Thunder God squad, are you there?"

At Hiruzen Sarutobi's call, Genma Shiranui, Namiashi Raidō, and Iwashi Tatami immediately came before the Third Hokage.

"Lord Third, what are your orders?" the three asked in unison.

"We have to move the Jinchuriki outside the village. We have a barrier, but right now we're trapped inside it with them. It's like being locked in the same cage as two beasts. So I want you to use Flying Thunder God to transport the Jinchuriki outside the village. We'll deal with the problem out there. Can you do it?" Hiruzen Sarutobi explained.

"In theory, there shouldn't be a problem. We'll do everything we can. We're willing to give our lives to protect the village," Genma Shiranui said firmly. The other two nodded in agreement.

With that, the three used the Body Flicker Technique to appear in front of Naruto and Menma, surrounding them in a triangle. They immediately activated the Flying Thunder God Formation, and in an instant, everyone within it was transported outside the village.

They appeared in an open area outside the village. This was where Minato had sealed the Nine-Tails all those years ago, and Minato's Flying Thunder God Mark still remained on the ground.

At the sight of it, the three used the Flying Thunder God Formation to leave again, then used the Flying Thunder God Kunai in Kakashi's pack to return to the others.

The situation was urgent, and there was no time for discussion. Hiruzen Sarutobi ordered everyone:

"Barrier Team, take down the barrier. Jiraiya, Kakashi, let's go."

At the order, Jiraiya immediately joined Kakashi and Hiruzen Sarutobi. The three activated the Flying Thunder God Formation and instantly appeared where Naruto and Menma were.

Naruto's tail stabbed toward an Anbu Ninja. The ninja reacted quickly and dodged.

The tail stabbed straight into the ground, but a Chakra arm suddenly extended from beside it and reached for the Anbu Ninja. The ninja realized he was in trouble and dodged with several quick leaps and twists, barely avoiding the constantly appearing Chakra arms. By now, everyone was panting with exhaustion.

They didn't dare grab the two directly. Someone had already tried, only to find that the Nine-Tails Chakra Cloaks covering Naruto and Menma were scorching hot. The moment they touched them, their hands had been badly burned.

"Damn it, isn't there any better way?" an Anbu Ninja said helplessly, watching the rampaging Naruto and Menma.

Suddenly, Naruto and Menma raised their hands high and slammed them into the ground. The earth shook violently, and four Chakra arms burst out from beneath the Anbu's feet, reaching for them.

Several Anbu Ninja with sharp senses reacted before the arms had fully emerged, jumping back to dodge. They also warned the others.

One of the slower Anbu Ninja was unlucky enough to get caught by the leg. The Chakra arm clenched, and his leg was instantly crushed, his bones shattered.

Hearing the Anbu Ninja's agonized scream, the others threw Kunai and Shuriken, trying to stop Naruto and Menma's rampage.

But neither the Kunai nor the Shuriken could pierce the dark-red Chakra Cloaks covering Naruto and Menma. They didn't even leave a scratch.

"Now's our chance!" Jiraiya saw Naruto and Menma sink their arms into the ground and immediately called to Kakashi to move in.

Kakashi realized it was a rare opportunity, too, and ran toward Menma with Jiraiya.

Sensing them approaching, Menma extended his four tails, stabbing repeatedly at Jiraiya and Kakashi.

The two moved nimbly, dodging every attack with quick twists and leaps. Seeing that this tactic had failed, Menma quickly withdrew the tails, then stretched them out again to grab at Kakashi and Jiraiya.

The two managed to reach Menma without mishap. Kakashi quickly formed Hand Seals.

"Earth Style: Earth-Style Wall!"

Four earthen walls bearing dog-head designs instantly rose from the ground, enclosing Menma in a square.

Menma wasn't trapped for long. He swung his arm, and the walls instantly crumbled. As they collapsed, Kakashi had already reached him and stuck the talisman to his forehead.

A flash of white light appeared, and the Nine-Tails' blood-red Chakra Cloak rapidly faded before their eyes.

"Ah... ah..." Menma cried out in agony. He gradually returned to his original appearance, but the Nine-Tails Chakra had badly burned his skin, exposing the flesh beneath.

Seeing Menma like this, Kakashi couldn't help feeling heartbroken. Once the Chakra Cloak had completely faded, Menma passed out and fell toward the ground.

Kakashi reacted swiftly, catching Menma and carrying him back several steps to Hiruzen Sarutobi's side.

Looking at the unconscious Menma in Kakashi's arms, Hiruzen Sarutobi felt a jumble of emotions. He then turned to Naruto, who was still rampaging, grabbed the Adamantine Staff, and charged toward him.

Naruto spotted Jiraiya closing in and hurriedly pulled his arm back to dodge, then lashed out with his tail. Jiraiya didn't have time to react and was flung away, but he quickly regained his balance.

Naruto retreated a few steps, putting some distance between himself and the others. Hiruzen Sarutobi went to Jiraiya's side. Seeing what Naruto was doing, Jiraiya felt a sudden sense of foreboding.

Just then, a mass of dark-red and pale-blue Chakra spheres surged out of Naruto. He raised his head slightly and opened his mouth, which shone with white light. His four tails stretched above his head.

The two differently colored Chakra spheres gathered at Naruto's mouth, forming a huge black Chakra sphere.

Through his Sharingan, Kakashi clearly saw the immense Chakra contained in the black sphere and felt a jolt of alarm. The others were also starting to panic.

Jiraiya suddenly seemed to realize what was happening and shouted, "Everyone, use defensive Jutsu! If that hits us, we're dead!" At his words, the group quickly gathered and began using defensive Jutsu.

"Earth Style: Miles-Long Earth Wall!" "Earth Style: Earth Rampart Wall!"

After forming Hand Seals, they slapped their hands against the ground. Several enormous, thick earthen walls erupted, shielding everyone behind them.

"Damn it, this might still not be enough," Jiraiya said through gritted teeth.

Just then, Genma Shiranui, Namiashi Raidō, and Iwashi Tatami formed a triangle and began making Hand Seals. All three slapped the ground at once, and a triangular purple barrier rose around them.

"Four Violet Flames Formation!" the three shouted in unison.

The others relaxed a little at the sight of the barrier. They knew how powerful it was and didn't think it could be broken easily.

"No, we still have to do something else," Hiruzen Sarutobi said, as if sensing something.

The black Chakra sphere at Naruto's mouth began to shrink as it compressed. Each time it did, the ground trembled. The earth had already sunk slightly, forming a circle.

Naruto opened his mouth wide and swallowed the black Chakra sphere. His body immediately swelled like a balloon, as if it could burst at any moment. Just as he prepared to open his mouth and fire, Hiruzen Sarutobi noticed.

"Now! Earth Style: Earth Flow Spear!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi formed Hand Seals and slapped the ground. A rock suddenly appeared in the earth near Naruto and shot toward his head. The impact nudged Naruto's head slightly to the side, causing the Tailed Beast Ball he fired to veer off course.

The Tailed Beast Ball flew past the group and smashed into the earthen wall.

"Boom!"

The deafening blast instantly destroyed the earthen wall. A technique that had once withstood an attack from the Third Raikage vanished the instant the Tailed Beast Ball hit it.

Everyone was stunned by the sight before them. They hadn't expected such incredible power. A flash of light filled their vision, followed by ringing in their ears. For a moment, they were all dazed.

Fortunately, the Tailed Beast Ball hadn't broken through the Four Violet Flames Formation. Once everyone came to their senses, they saw that everywhere around them had been struck, apart from the spot where they stood. The sight made them even more terrified.

They knew that if the Chakra had been any more concentrated, they might not have survived.

Before anyone could feel relieved at having escaped disaster, Naruto charged straight at them. Seeing this, Genma Shiranui, Namiashi Raidō, and Iwashi Tatami immediately took down the barrier. The others scattered as soon as it opened.

Naruto's claw swiped at empty air. He immediately turned toward Kakashi and charged at him.

Kakashi was startled and dodged to the side with Menma in his arms. Hiruzen Sarutobi and Jiraiya rushed forward and stood in front of Kakashi.

"Earth Release: Earth Flow River!" Hiruzen Sarutobi shouted as he formed Hand Seals. The ground suddenly turned into a mudslide that flowed toward Naruto. Naruto lost his footing and staggered.

At that moment, an Anbu Ninja from the Nara Clan saw his chance and immediately used the Shadow Possession Jutsu to restrain Naruto.

"Quick! Lord Jiraiya, I can't hold him much longer!" the Anbu Ninja from the Nara Clan shouted to Jiraiya.

"I know!" Jiraiya shouted. He quickly went to Naruto and stuck the talisman to his forehead.

The talisman flashed the moment it touched Naruto. Just like Menma's, the dark-red Nine-Tails Chakra Cloak gradually faded, revealing Naruto's original appearance.

Naruto's skin had also been burned by the Nine-Tails Chakra, exposing the flesh beneath.

"Ah... ah..." Naruto let out a heart-wrenching scream of pain.

The Anbu Ninja from the Nara Clan sighed with relief and released the Shadow Possession Jutsu.

As the Chakra Cloak continued to fade, Naruto passed out once it was completely gone and fell backward. Jiraiya reacted swiftly, catching him. He picked Naruto up and carried him over to Hiruzen Sarutobi.

As everyone watched Menma and Naruto in Kakashi and Jiraiya's arms, they noticed that their skin was recovering at a visible rate.

"Their healing abilities are incredible," an Anbu Ninja remarked.

Since Menma had come out of his rampage first, he had nearly finished recovering. He looked much the same as he had before.

Hiruzen Sarutobi glanced again at the Anbu Ninja with the crushed leg and asked, "Are you all right? Take some time to rest and focus on recovering."

The Anbu Ninja with the shattered leg was being supported by two others. He nodded to show that he understood.

"Then let's head back," Jiraiya said.

Genma Shiranui, Namiashi Raidō, and Iwashi Tatami came over and activated the Flying Thunder God Formation. Everyone returned to Konoha.
