Background / History

Klee is the intelligence created within the Fusang Divine Tree by Lu Qiming, who uses the residual souls of dead Cursed Children in her creation. He gives her his bloodline, names her Klee, and treats her as his daughter. Her original true body is the Fusang Divine Tree planted on the sun. 270 330 372

Soon after her birth, Klee spontaneously learns to form a temporary humanoid body from fire because she wants to hug Lu Qiming. This manifestation is maintained by mental power and disappears if she withdraws it. 270

Klee later becomes the Spiritual Energy anchor for Gensokyo's Great Barrier. Her roots envelop and support the landmass during its establishment, and her role as an anchor allows her spirit body to be nurtured into a physical sun-spirit body. 334 344

To advance Klee toward godhood, Lu Qiming gathers solar divinity for her. After Amaterasu threatens Klee, Lu Qiming kills the sun goddess, allowing Klee to absorb her complete Sun Godhead. 363
