"Enhance!"
"Spirit LV3"
Three consecutive enhancements to the Spirit attribute.
Three waves of incredibly comfortable, warm currents surged into Morgan's body one after another.
Coupled with the unprecedented clarity brought to his mind by the Spirit enhancement, Morgan suddenly felt as if he were floating on air.
Perhaps it was due to the unique nature of the Spirit attribute.
Or perhaps it was the massive boost from three successive enhancements.
At this moment, Morgan could clearly perceive the changes in his five senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch (perception).
He had originally assumed that Spirit primarily determined attributes like willpower and resistance to temptation.
Only after this enhancement did he realize it went far beyond simply boosting willpower; almost every ability related to the brain that wasn't an explicit attribute had improved to varying degrees.
Moreover, unlike the other three major attributes, which required simple training to adapt after enhancement, the Spirit attribute adapted much faster.
He felt almost no discomfort, such as dizziness or a throbbing headache, which usually accompanied a sudden, massive increase in mental capacity.
Aside from feeling a greater sense of clarity and sharpness in his mind, Morgan felt no ill effects at all.
"Is this the remarkable effect of enhancing Spirit?"
Feeling the clarity in his mind, Morgan looked at the Spirit attribute on the data panel before him, which was now at LV3, and still felt a lingering urge to continue.
However, this impulse was merely a natural physiological reaction.
In terms of consciousness, Morgan, having just raised his Spirit to LV3, was clearly calmer and more rational than before the enhancement.
With the Spirit attribute reinforced to LV3, such a massive improvement, Morgan believed that even if he couldn't completely resist the temptation of The One Ring, he would certainly have the strength to fight back.
If even a Spirit LV3 level wasn't enough to withstand it, Morgan didn't believe that an ordinary Bilbo could resist the temptation of the Ring.
Out of seven total Soul Power points, three had been used up in an instant.
Morgan's heart bled; these were all earned through life-and-death struggles.
The improvement to the Spirit attribute was sufficient for now.
The remaining four points would naturally be used on the other three attributes.
His gaze began to wander across the Strength, Constitution, and Agility attributes.
This time, he didn't overthink it either.
With a flicker of thought, Morgan tapped the plus signs behind Strength and Constitution once each.

"Enhance!"
"Strength LV2"

"Enhance!"
"Constitution LV2"
After these two enhancements, Morgan's four major attributes became: Strength LV2; Constitution LV2; Agility LV2; Spirit LV3.
Looking at the two remaining Soul Power points, Morgan fell silent for a moment before tapping the plus sign behind Agility.

"Enhance!"
"Agility LV3"
Morgan never forgot that his role in the Company was that of an archer.
Although his White Crow Swordsmanship had reached LV2, and his Strength and Constitution had improved significantly compared to the beginning, boosting his melee prowess, his Archery remained his strongest asset.
Since it was his greatest strength, he had to maintain it.
Besides, the Company was not lacking in melee elites or tanks.
Morgan glanced at the Soul Power column; only one point remained.
"What should I enhance?"
He stared at the four attribute bars before him.
After some consideration, Morgan decided to invest his final point of Soul Power into Physique.
[This enhancement consumes 1 Soul Power. Confirm enhancement?]
"Enhance!"
"Physique LV3"
Physique determined Morgan's health, durability, resilience, and recovery rate.
No one would ever complain about having too much health.
Archers were DPS units, and in games, they were always the primary targets for assassination.
It was much the same in reality; in small-scale skirmishes, a skilled archer could be terrifyingly effective.
It was no surprise that they were prioritized as targets.
Since his other attributes were sufficient for the time being and he didn't know what else to upgrade, adding to Physique was never a mistake.
As the last point of Soul Power was consumed, and he watched the Soul Power column return to empty, Morgan felt a sense of loss, much like a miser.
However, feeling the power surging through his entire body, feeling himself growing stronger bit by bit at a speed visible to the naked eye, Morgan felt it was all worth it.
With all seven points of Soul Power spent, Morgan's attribute panel took on a brand-new look.
[Time Traveler: Morgan] [Race: Human] [Biological Level: Tier 1] [Soul Power: 0] [Attributes: Strength LV2; Physique LV3+; Agility LV3+; Spirit LV3] [Abilities: Common Tongue; Muay Thai LV2; White Crow Swordsmanship LV2; Archery LV3] [Talent: Intimacy (Special Skill)] [Current World Exploration Progress: 0.46%] [.]
Looking at the fresh virtual data panel, Morgan only then noticed the World Exploration Progress column.
The progress had only been 0.35% this morning; he hadn't expected it to surge to 0.46% by evening.
However, the World Exploration Progress didn't reveal anything for the moment, so Morgan didn't pay it much mind.
As the virtual data before his eyes began to dissipate, Morgan finally felt a chill, realizing the hot water in the tub had gone cold.
He didn't care; with his current LV3 Physique, he wouldn't even feel cold swimming in an icy river in winter, let alone now.
Morgan didn't call the elves to change the water, instead scrubbing himself clean in the cold water.
He washed away the blood, grime, and exhaustion from his body.
When Morgan stood up and stepped out of the tub, he suddenly realized something.
The physical discomfort that usually followed the enhancement of his four major attributes was far less intense than it had been after this morning's enhancement.
Morgan stood in the room and simply stretched his limbs, feeling his body recovering rapidly.
What was the reason for this?
Although he had recovered quickly this morning, the speed was nowhere near what it was now.
Was it because this morning was his first time enhancing his attributes?
Morgan wasn't sure of the specific reason, but it was certainly a good thing.
It would save him from the embarrassment of stumbling while walking next time.
After just a simple warm-up, Morgan felt his body return to normal.
Clad in the exquisite clothes the elves had prepared for him, he opened the door and walked out.
As soon as he stepped out, he saw a blazing bonfire in the small garden not far away. A roasting spit was set over the fire, and the dwarves sat around it, chatting and laughing.
Seeing Morgan emerge, the dwarves immediately called out to him.
Morgan smiled at the sight. He knew without asking that these dwarves must not have eaten their fill at the previous banquet. It was understandable, though. The elves' delicacies were mostly raw grass, vegetables, and fruits. It would be strange if the dwarves had eaten their fill.
Morgan sat by the bonfire for a while, declining the dwarves' barbecue. Just as he was about to get up and explore Rivendell, he saw Gandalf and King Elrond walking towards him from a distance.
Seeing this, Morgan's mind immediately recalled scenes from the memory plot. The next event, he thought, should be King Elrond revealing the secret of the Lonely Mountain map to the Company.
