Myth Recreated

Even so, the Sage of Six Paths had no intention of intervening to stop his two sons. He merely watched as their chakras grew stronger and continued to empower their hosts.

His two sons, Indra and Asura, had continually reincarnated, fighting each other over and over throughout the world.

In this generation, Indra and Asura were Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju. They were also the two chakras Li Ke had sensed, the ones that kept enhancing Hashirama Senju's strength, as well as his own and Madara Uchiha's.

And so—

"Ha!!"

The two long blades clashed once again. With no other choice, Li Ke covered his body with Susanoo as well, so that he wouldn't be struck.

The two of them rapidly traded blows, their blades colliding with such force that every living thing around them had already been stripped of its strength!

At the same time, a blazing Tomoe formed in Madara Uchiha's Susanoo's hand. Li Ke was not to be outdone. He poured a massive amount of chakra into the sword in his hand and swung out a blade of energy!

The blade of energy collided with the blazing Tomoe, setting off another earth-shattering explosion.

But this kind of offense and defense was meaningless!

Li Ke felt the chakra within him. After clashing chakra with Madara Uchiha, he could tell that if he strengthened the power of the armor covering his Susanoo, he could ignore Madara Uchiha's attack and his blade's slash!

But by now, he understood.

A simple clash between two colossal figures wasn't enough to properly counter Madara Uchiha!

This was nothing more than two immense masses of chakra colliding!

In a battle between opponents as powerful as them, Susanoo could do little more than provide defense!

So to kill Madara Uchiha, he had to use another kind of power! He needed to unleash everything in a single strike.

Watching Madara Uchiha control his Susanoo and relentlessly slash at him, each blow powerful enough to destroy mountains and countless ninja, Li Ke pressed his lips together.

Madara Uchiha still had the power of Izanagi.

So he needed a power capable of sealing even Izanagi!

As for the power of the Sharingan...

As Li Ke was thinking, Madara Uchiha's strength increased once again!

"Is that all you've got?!"

Madara Uchiha's eyes shifted. The two additional arms formed from the wings on Susanoo's back drew another pair of long blades and brought them down toward Li Ke.

This time, before the blades had even fallen, the clouds in the sky had already been cut apart. The distant mountains were cleaved in two and collapsed!

Even the shock waves alone were beyond the destructive power of any ordinary Kage or ninja. Li Ke's response, however, was simple.

If he was facing the power of the Sharingan, then he would fight it with the power of the Sharingan!

"A samurai sword? Such a feeble weapon..."

Li Ke pressed his hands together and exerted a little force. The next moment, new heads and arms grew from the King of Martial Formation beneath his feet.

War God Avatar: Three Heads and Six Arms!

The six arms wielded different powers. With a vast amount of chakra bolstering him, Li Ke's Four-pointed Star Sharingan began to reveal its true power as he wholeheartedly believed in his own will!

The weapons in the six hands instantly changed. Two weapons appeared in the hands on the left: a truncheon and a hammer. In the hands on the right appeared a spear.

A long sword appeared in the middle pair of hands. Moreover, a weapon resembling an umbrella appeared at Li Ke's waist.

The two arms on the left and right swung their weapons to block the incoming attacks and counter. At the same time, the long blade in Li Ke's hand transformed into a long sword.

Every weapon held by the Wood Golem was a so-called divine weapon, formed from Li Ke's mental power!

But at that moment, only one of those weapons could fully display its might.

The hammer and truncheon collided, shattering the Susanoo's samurai sword trapped between them. The other samurai sword was knocked aside by Li Ke's spear, whose tip thrust straight toward Madara Uchiha, inside the gem on Susanoo's forehead!

The chakra forming Susanoo shattered at once. Madara Uchiha immediately used Susanoo's arms to block the spear thrusting toward him. Then Susanoo's upper body was sent flying, crashing straight into a mountain.

The spear in Li Ke's hand kept growing longer, driving Madara Uchiha deeper into the mountain. At the same time, Li Ke prepared a new technique.

"In a chaotic age, order must be established through the kingly way. Madara Uchiha! Bear witness to my power!"

A fervent wish gathered in Li Ke's eyes. The Four-pointed Star in them grew sharper, and even in this state, blood tears streamed from his eyes.

This was the Eye of Mind's Reflection!

"Tai'a!"

The "divine weapon" in his hand lit up with golden radiance, a terrifying power gathering within it. Yin-Yang Power reshaped the long sword in Li Ke's hand, and the power of his mind joined it.

Even Li Ke himself didn't know what technique he had used or what principles were involved. But at that moment, the only thing he knew was—

He thrust with all his might. A furious beam of golden light shot toward Madara Uchiha. Bearing an imposing, overwhelming force, it surged straight at him. Madara Uchiha was about to dodge when he saw the space around him begin to distort. His arm even started to bend before it could touch that immense power!

For an instant, his eyes once again became the Rinnegan, the eyes of a Sage. But as before, his current, false state couldn't sustain those powerful eyes!

Fortunately, he had already prepared a technique of his own!

"Don't underestimate me, brat!"

The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path!

Madara Uchiha summoned the colossal husk of the Ten-Tails, placing it in front of him.

Though this was part of his plan, everything would be meaningless if he couldn't defeat Li Ke here!

But it was no use!

Without enough chakra absorbed, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path was nothing more than a huge target. The golden beam pierced straight through it and split it apart!

But Madara Uchiha needed only that brief moment!

After piercing through the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, the golden beam was stopped by a black shield. Two immense masses of chakra continued to clash. Madara Uchiha, whose body had reconnected with the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, poured all his power into Yin-Yang Release, yet could barely manage to block that single sword strike!

And it looked as though he had stopped it.

But Li Ke could see the truth clearly. Even with the power of the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, Madara Uchiha absolutely couldn't withstand this strike.

Unless he could absorb the chakra of seven or eight Tailed Beasts right now and replace his eyes with the Rinnegan, it was all futile.

"It's useless, Madara Uchiha. Your wish, your madness, everything you hate and all the frenzy you want to vent—it's meaningless before the will of this sword."

Li Ke calmly raised two fingers together, pointing at Madara Uchiha.

"This is the power of the people's will, the power to unify the world!"

Your will is beneath mine!!

Madara Uchiha realized it too. His eyes widened, but he still couldn't resist the golden sword light. In the end, he could only watch as his black shield cracked apart, bit by bit, revealing boundless golden light!

Every strand of golden light that escaped carried immense power. Even a sliver of sword energy that passed by Madara Uchiha's cheek cleaved straight through a mountain!

The sword energy also carried Senjutsu and sealing power. It only grazed his cheek, but even that was enough to seal away some of Izanagi's power, causing his youthful face to grow old!

"You brat!! This power isn't enough! Your will is the false one!"

Madara Uchiha let out a frenzied roar. His youthful face was slowly covered by an aged one. The golden sword energy kept piercing his body, stripping away his false power and burying his ambitions.

Li Ke showed no mercy. He knew all too well that he had reached the limits of what his body could endure at this age. There was no way he could hold back.

The base color of his Sharingan gradually turned white, and at this final moment, the Four-pointed Star in his eyes turned completely golden.

"Lord Madara, rest in peace!"

The black shield before Madara Uchiha shattered completely. His ambition, his madness, his fury, and even the proud love of the Uchiha were all obliterated by the Tai'a in Li Ke's hand!

"Murata Qingtan!!!!"

At that moment, Madara Uchiha understood this.

The sword energy of Tai'a pierced through his body completely, drowning him in golden light.

The golden sword energy pierced through the mountain before them and shot from Konoha's territory toward the distant sea. It split mountains, shattered rocks, and tore apart everything in its path—even several unlucky islands were cleaved in two!

The sea and sky were parted, and the earth and mountains were torn asunder!

Kirigakure and the Konoha Ninja pursuing them all witnessed the most unbelievable sight they would ever see!

Before their eyes, the sea was split apart by the golden light, and its endless waves rose higher and higher!

The golden light seemed to go on forever. As it tore through the sea, it also surged toward the distant horizon, ripping through the clouds before vanishing beyond the planet.

All the ninja could do was gape at the miracle before them.

The land's map and terrain had been changed forever!

Just then, Minato Namikaze arrived at the scene using Flying Thunder God, drawn by the immense chakra. He, too, saw the sea split apart.

He stared at the exposed depths of the seafloor, the sea that still hadn't closed, and the deep canyon carved into the land by the sword slash. Even he was stunned.

"The sea... the sea has been split apart?!"

The moment Madara Uchiha's chakra signature disappeared, the one who had caused all this also felt something leave him.

"Ugh..."

The moment that power left, the pillar supporting the immense power within him vanished. The enormous chakra expenditure left Li Ke so weak that he dropped to one knee. The power in his eyes rapidly crumbled and disappeared, and the order governing that vast chakra collapsed at once.

If Hashirama Senju and Senju Tobirama hadn't helped purge the excess chakra from his body, then the instant he lost the ability to use his Dojutsu, the rampaging chakra would have torn him apart!

He had just wielded a power he wasn't yet qualified to use!

"You pushed yourself too hard, Qingtan... Your body hasn't fully matured yet. Using too much power beyond your body's limits isn't good for you."

Hashirama Senju spoke with concern. He hadn't thought of this earlier either, but it was actually quite harmful to Li Ke's body.
