The Saiyans' Different Domains

In the Supreme Kai World.

"This energy is immense, yet it carries no malice. Furthermore, the source of this energy is none other than Earth!"

Old Supreme Kai had lived for an eternity, after all; he was well-traveled and possessed a wealth of experience. Though he was deeply shocked, he did not lose his composure like Supreme Kai Shin, managing instead to keep a level head. Moreover, Son Goku and the others were on Earth. Yet, no matter how he sensed it, he could not match this energy to any of them.

"Earth?" Supreme Kai Shin was taken aback. He immediately closed his eyes to focus, nodding only after a long moment.

"Let us observe further; perhaps things are not as dire as we imagine." Old Supreme Kai produced a crystal ball, placed it before him, and muttered a few unintelligible words while resting his hands upon it.

"Reveal!" A ripple flashed across the crystal ball, and an image instantly materialized. The scene displayed was none other than Earth itself. The figures reflected within were...

"Son Goku, Son Gohan, Vegeta... and who is that other person?" Supreme Kai Shin stared at the four individuals in the crystal ball. He recognized only three. As for the last one, he looked entirely unfamiliar, and he spoke up in confusion.

"If I knew, would I be asking you?" Old Supreme Kai retorted irritably.

Supreme Kai Shin froze, unable to find any reason to argue. Old Supreme Kai's expression grew increasingly grave. If this was someone who had never appeared before, then the situation was indeed becoming troublesome.

"This is my Super Saiyan 3. Its power is four times that of Super Saiyan 2, which is equivalent to 400 times my base state. My base combat power is 100 billion; after transforming into Super Saiyan 3, my strength reaches 40 trillion. So-called Super Saiyan 3 is merely a milestone for Saiyans. Any Saiyan willing to put in the effort can easily reach this third stage of transformation. However, beyond the third stage, there are other transformations waiting to be developed, though a watershed moment will arrive by then." Soya spoke slowly. He did not immediately intend to transform into Super Saiyan 4, choosing instead to explain these concepts to Son Goku and the others.

"A watershed?" Son Goku was stunned for a moment, then looked at Soya in confusion. Given his intellect, it was clear he found these words difficult to grasp.

"You can think of this 'watershed' as a choice. It's just that everyone's choice is different. According to my research, Saiyans in ancient times were divided into two factions. One faction was rooted in the honor of the Saiyans—never abandoning, never giving up, and walking a steadfast path. It is very difficult for such people to break through, but once they do, their strength receives a massive boost. You could say this group follows the path of the Saiyans' innate, heaven-gifted transformations. The others chose a different path. When they could not break through via transformation, they used other means to improve. Some among them reached a new realm by chance—the realm of Super Saiyan God. Every species can cultivate into a god after reaching a certain level; this is an immutable law. Both paths were walked by our Saiyan ancestors, and both were successful. As for which path is truly the 'correct' one, there is no way to know."

Soya spoke deliberately. In truth, he did not have to say any of this. He believed that even if he remained silent, once Beerus arrived, Son Goku and Vegeta would still follow the original script and become Super Saiyan Gods. Soya's appearance, however, served to offer them a choice, which was his primary objective.

"Son Gohan, the path you are walking is one that no Saiyan has ever taken in all these years, though it leans more toward the path of becoming a Super Saiyan God. However, there are specific differences that I cannot easily judge. Everything depends on you." Soya said, glancing at Son Gohan.

"Soya, you've said so much, so I want to know exactly which path you are walking."

Vegeta looked at Soya; such a question was something only he could ask.

If one were to count on Son Goku, given that guy's personality, he would certainly be too embarrassed to ask.

It wasn't that Son Goku wouldn't dare to ask, but rather that he might not even think of such a question in the first place.

"Me?"

Soya glanced at Vegeta indifferently, then turned his gaze toward his own fist.

"The path I have chosen is the path of the Saiyan. I have not chosen the cultivation of realms; in other words, I primarily walk the path of Saiyan transformations, rather than the path of becoming a Super Saiyan God."

Soya smiled slightly as he spoke.

"Four!"
