Son Goku and the others stared intently at Soya. He was about to transform, and they had never seen—or even dared imagine—a transformation like this before.
Especially since this transformation had disappeared in ancient times and was only now being seen again. Naturally, the three of them didn't want to miss a single moment.

A terrifying storm swept across the sea. The water dropped by more than three inches as the fearsome aura suddenly erupted from Soya.
The ocean was vast and boundless, yet even so, the sheer heat of Soya's terrifying transformation made its water level fall by three inches.

In an instant, his battle power shot up to nearly 800,000 billion!

Fur appeared on Soya's body. His hair changed from gold back to black, and a reddish hue appeared around his eyes.

Soya let out a low roar.

An unimaginable force erupted, and in that moment Soya transformed into Super Saiyan 4.
As he transformed, Soya's power reached a terrifying 4,000,000 billion.
4,000,000 billion—that was 400 trillion. The leap in power was enormous, almost absurdly so.
After Soya transformed into Super Saiyan 4, the three of them actually felt much more at ease.
That was because they could no longer feel the suffocating aura radiating from Soya.
Although his appearance had changed, Soya's aura now seemed very calm.
"Approachable" might have been an even better way to put it.
"Is this Super Saiyan 4?"
Son Goku studied Soya carefully.
Although Soya no longer had that overwhelming, aggressive aura, Goku could sense an even greater danger in him now.
It wasn't something he could clearly identify, but rather a sixth sense.
"That's right. This is Super Saiyan 4, one of the Saiyans' paths back to their ancient roots."
Soya nodded.
After Soya unleashed the power of Super Saiyan 4, there were very few people left in Universe 7 who could sense it.
But in another strange place within Universe 7, there was a sacred realm much like the Supreme Kai World.
All things in the universe existed in balance. If there were Supreme Kais, creator gods who cared for humanity, then there also had to be Gods of Destruction to maintain the balance of the universe.
This second sacred realm was where the Gods of Destruction resided.
The God of Destruction of Universe 7 was rather lazy, with only two real interests.
One was food. If something was delicious, he liked it.
The other was sleeping—and he could sleep for a very long time.
The God of Destruction of Universe 7 was asleep. But when the aura of Soya's Super Saiyan 4 reached him, Beerus's sleeping body suddenly stirred.
It was as if he had sensed something, and his body had reacted to it.
But he was simply too tired to open his eyes. He rolled over and continued snoring.
Still, anyone who knew Beerus would recognize that when he moved like that, it meant he was about to wake up.
After all, even ordinary people liked to linger in bed after waking up, let alone someone like Beerus.
Whis was enjoying some delicious food. He sensed Soya's aura when it spread through the universe, but paid it no mind.
It seemed an aura like that wasn't enough to interest him. He simply ignored it and kept eating.

Whis spoke as he ate.

Soya's aura gradually weakened, and he exited his Super Saiyan 4 state, slowly returning to normal.
The terrifying power from before vanished as well.
"If I'm not mistaken, a powerful fighter will come to Earth in a few days. With your current strength, you won't be able to fight him!"
Soya glanced up at the stars. He didn't know where Beerus was.
But judging by the timeline, Beerus's arrival was drawing near.
"A powerful fighter? Does that mean even you can't beat him?"
Son Goku looked at Soya in surprise.
He had thought Soya was already incredibly strong, but now he'd learned that someone even stronger existed. That person had to be beyond anything an ordinary person could imagine.
"His strength is beyond anything we can imagine. Even in my Super Saiyan 4 state, I'm not confident I could withstand even a tenth of his power.
"But before then, we should make some preparations."
As Soya spoke, he raised his right hand and swept it through the air. A storm burst forth, enveloping Son Goku and the others in an instant.

Soya and the three others appeared there the next second.
"Son Goku!"
Piccolo spoke when Soya suddenly appeared without warning.
Of course, he also noticed that someone he didn't recognize was standing beside Son Goku.
That man's aura was remarkably similar to the terrifying one Piccolo had sensed earlier.
"Son Goku, who is he?"
Piccolo looked at the unfamiliar Soya beside Goku and asked.

When Son Goku explained that the terrifying power Piccolo had sensed earlier had come from Soya, Piccolo was stunned.

"Piccolo, we'd like to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Is that all right?"
After explaining everything to Piccolo, Son Goku made his request.
Piccolo hesitated for a moment, then agreed to Goku's request.
"Follow me."
He glanced at Soya. He hadn't been there when Soya unleashed his power, but he had still been shaken by the unbelievably powerful aura from Kami's Lookout.
Especially since Son Goku had brought Soya here himself.
Piccolo could at least do him that favor.
