Beerus Rushes to Earth

Beerus was stunned upon hearing this.

That was enough time for him to have eaten so many delicious things.

"Vegeta, Gohan, you two go on ahead. I'm going to stay here with Soya for a little longer, but I'll be out shortly."

Son Goku said to Vegeta and Son Gohan.

"Fine."

Vegeta did not hesitate in the slightest.

"Soya, I have to go. King Kai says Lord Beerus is coming, and he sounds incredibly strong."

Son Goku found the place where Soya was training alone.

"Beerus? He's coming?"

Soya opened his eyes, a flash of golden light flickering within them. He exhaled a breath of stale air as he looked at Son Goku and spoke slowly.

"It seems he will arrive on Earth in about three minutes."

Son Goku nodded affirmatively.

"I see. You go ahead first. I've reached a critical moment in my training; I'll come out once I'm finished."

Soya nodded.

"Soya, that powerful being you mentioned earlier—the one we couldn't possibly match—could it be this Lord Beerus that King Kai is talking about?"

Son Goku asked, voicing his confusion; this was the main reason he had stayed behind.

"Who knows? Perhaps."

Soya did not give a definitive answer, speaking only those words.

"Alright, then I'm leaving."

Seeing that Soya would not give him a straight answer, Son Goku felt a tinge of regret, but he nodded nonetheless and turned to leave.

Son Goku's speed was immense. In an instant, he vanished, shooting off into the distance until he was nowhere to be seen.

After Son Goku had left, a faint curve appeared on the corner of Soya's mouth as he murmured to himself.

"Beerus, is it?"

Soya whispered.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time!"
