His expression was cold, and he didn't even look at Vegeta and the others.
He didn't look at Son Goku, either.
In his eyes, these people weren't even worth noticing.
Beerus kept his gaze fixed on the distance. He could sense a powerful presence somewhere on Earth.
"I don't know if you're the one I'm looking for, but I'm quite pleased with your energy."
Beerus murmured.
His battle with Son Goku had been brief, from start to finish. At most, it had been a warm-up.
Beerus hadn't originally wanted to end the fight so quickly. He'd wanted to enjoy himself for a while.
But just moments ago, he'd sensed a powerful presence appear.
This presence was immensely strong, and it carried pure God Ki—not like Son Goku, who had only acquired God Ki through fusion.
The two were simply incomparable.
In fact, it was because he'd sensed that presence that Beerus had stopped fighting Son Goku.
The reason was simple.
Clearly, compared to Son Goku, this newly appeared presence was a much more suitable opponent for him.
With that thought in mind, Beerus had defeated Son Goku with a single blow.

Beerus gazed into the distance and spoke softly. A smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, and then his figure flashed and vanished in a streak of light.
Beerus was far faster than anyone could have imagined.

Of everyone there, only Whis had seen him leave.
"What happened?"
Vegeta froze.
He had already prepared himself to die, but Beerus hadn't even spared him a glance.
That was a relief.
Only then did Vegeta realize he was drenched in cold sweat.
"The direction he went in looks like..."
Son Gohan glanced toward the direction Beerus had left and spoke in confusion.
"The Lookout!"
Piccolo and Dende exchanged a glance. They knew Beerus was heading to the Lookout.
"Could it be...?"
A thought occurred to Vegeta.

Son Goku had recovered some of his strength.
It wasn't enough to let him unleash much power, but it was enough for him to manage the basics.
"During the battle, I suddenly sensed an incredibly powerful presence appear. But before I could think much about it, Lord Beerus defeated me.
"Now that I think about it, that presence must have been Soya. I wonder how much stronger he's become after coming out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber this time."
Son Goku's eyes were filled with anticipation.
Once Soya finished his training, his strength would surely have undergone a massive improvement.
"You're saying Soya came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"
Vegeta closed his eyes and tried to sense him.
But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't detect Soya's presence at all.
"Why can't I sense him?"
Vegeta asked in confusion. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't feel Soya's energy.

Son Goku and the others appeared in an instant. At the very same moment, Beerus and Whis arrived at the Temple Plaza.

As soon as Beerus appeared, his gaze fell directly on Soya, and his eyes lit up.
"So you're the one whose power I sensed earlier!"
Beerus looked at Luo Fan and spoke.
His level was nothing like Son Goku and the others'.
Beerus could sense a different kind of energy coming from Soya.
"Soya greets Lord Beerus."
Soya looked at Beerus and spoke calmly, his expression unchanged.
He'd expected Beerus to come, so he remained completely composed.
In fact, the moment he came out of the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he'd known that Beerus would sense him.
And once Beerus sensed him, he would come as quickly as possible.
So all of this had been within Soya's expectations.
He wasn't surprised by Beerus's arrival at all.
