Champa looked at Gu Xuan with disdain.

The instant the first word left his lips, a point of light appeared between his hands.
The ki throughout his body surged wildly, and even the energy around him began to flow toward his palms.

Though it was only a point of light, a powerful force suddenly appeared around Gu Xuan.
That force was emanating from the point of light between his hands.

As the third word fell, the power within Gu Xuan surged wildly, and a vast amount of energy gathered in an instant.

It grew from a point of light into a glowing orb.
As the orb took shape, an unimaginable power erupted from it.
Even Beerus and Champa narrowed their eyes.
The energy in Gu Xuan's hands had surprised even them.
"How is he so strong?"
Champa watched Gu Xuan, unable to stop himself from wondering. He hadn't expected Gu Xuan's strength to reach such a level.
"The barrier is strong, but so is his power. At this rate, the Universal Barrier might really be unable to stop him."
Though Champa didn't want to admit it, the power Gu Xuan had unleashed was enough to make him say so.
"Good grief, he's improved this much in just one year. I really didn't see that coming."
Beerus watched Gu Xuan. Compared to a year ago, Gu Xuan was now far stronger.
Even Beerus couldn't help but offer his sincere praise.

The fourth word left Gu Xuan's mouth.
The instant it fell, a cold look entered his eyes, making them razor-sharp.

With the final word, Gu Xuan thrust both hands forward.

The enormous Kamehameha surged forth, hurtling toward the barrier at tremendous speed.
The Kamehameha was incredibly fast. And this time, Gu Xuan had unleashed it with the full power of a Super Saiyan 3. Its might was therefore beyond imagination.

The Kamehameha slammed straight into the barrier.

A series of deafening crashes rang out.
The thunderous rumbling echoed without end!
In just a few seconds, the barrier collapsed under Gu Xuan's Kamehameha.
But the moment it broke, a strange light appeared, rapidly repairing the breach.

Gu Xuan flashed forward and charged through as the barrier rapidly closed.
He moved too fast. As he burst forward, he slipped through the crack in the breach and entered Universe 6.
About three minutes after he entered Universe 6, the breach he had made finally closed.
"I did it."
Standing beneath the starry sky of Universe 6, Gu Xuan came to a halt.
He looked toward Beerus and Whis from Universe 7, as well as Champa and Vados, his expression utterly calm.
"Not bad. I knew I could count on you."
Beerus nodded, then stepped forward and passed through the barrier as well.
"You really did open it."
Champa stared in disbelief for a moment, then gave a wry smile. He hadn't expected Gu Xuan to actually pull it off.
"It was just luck. Nothing special."
Gu Xuan spoke modestly. He had no choice; he couldn't afford to act too arrogant just yet, or people might think he was getting carried away.
Beerus, Whis, Champa, and Vados all entered Universe 6 as well.
"Champa, we can start the match now, right? Let the strongest fighters from our respective universes decide the outcome."
Beerus looked at Gu Xuan, whom he had high hopes for.
He knew Gu Xuan should have no trouble, even if his opponent was the strongest fighter in Universe 6.
"Vados, have you found the strongest fighter in our universe?"
Champa asked Vados.
His brow furrowed slightly, as if he were very displeased with how efficiently Vados had handled things.
"Lord Champa, I've found him. Should I bring him here now?
"He's a little far away, so the round trip should take about ten minutes. With time to persuade him, fifteen minutes should be enough."
Vados spoke softly.
"Hurry up. Don't take too long!"
Champa nodded as he spoke.
He had to save face somewhere else.
