Continue the Pursuit

After absorbing a Kamehameha, Android 19 felt his body brimming with energy once again.

He flashed forward, flying directly in front of Son Goku.

Without a word, he delivered a hammer blow to the top of Goku's head, knocking him straight down.

Enduring the pain coursing through his body, Son Goku forced himself to stabilize, preventing himself from crashing into the ground.

He turned around, preparing to retaliate with another Kamehameha.

"Idiot, don't use a Ki Blast! He'll just absorb it!"

Piccolo, tense to the breaking point, shouted a warning.

Hearing Piccolo's reminder, Son Goku hurriedly retracted his attack.

"Huff, huff, huff!"

He was panting heavily now, one hand clutching his heart, feeling incredibly unwell.

Android 19 clearly had no intention of letting this golden opportunity to press the attack slip away.

Moving with agility, his hands blurred into phantoms as he unleashed a continuous barrage of strikes against Goku's body.

"Ah!"

Son Goku cried out in agony, left with no room to fight back.

"Bang!"

Android 19 landed a punch that sent him sprawling.

Goku's body was now weakened to the extreme, and he lay on the ground, unable to rise again.

His golden aura and golden hair vanished, reverting him to his base form.

Android 19 rushed forward and sat his heavy frame right on top of Goku.

He gripped Goku's throat with one hand and began to drain his energy.

"Sigh!" Li Lin sighed helplessly and muttered, "Looks like it's time for me to step in!"

Seeing this, the others hurriedly prepared to rush forward to the rescue.

Dr. Gero saw this and flew from the ground into the sky, blocking their path.

"Heh heh, if you want to save Son Goku, I'm afraid you'll have to get through me first!"

Dr. Gero said with a sinister laugh.

"Hmph! Is that so?"

Suddenly, a voice came from behind him.

Dr. Gero whipped his head around, and the sight of Li Lin filled his vision, leaving him terrified and incredulous. "You—how could you be this fast?!"

Li Lin did not answer; he had no desire to address that question.

In truth, if he wanted to kill him, he could finish him off in an instant right now.

But Li Lin did not do so, because if Dr. Gero were killed, Android 18 might never be brought into existence.

After all, they had no idea where the secret location of the Androids was!

Li Lin flashed forward, arriving directly in front of Android 19.

Android 19 was completely unaware that Li Lin had appeared behind him.

The corners of his mouth turned up as he happily continued to absorb Goku's energy.

"Hey, that's enough. You can't handle that much energy!"

Li Lin's calm voice reached his ears.

Android 19 spun around, intending to attack.

But Li Lin gave him no chance, pressing a hand directly onto his head.

With a casual lift, he hoisted Android 19's body into the air.

Terrified, Android 19 fired a beam of light from his eyes, striking Li Lin's body.

"Boom!"

But when the smoke cleared, the attack had failed to have any effect at all.

Li Lin slowly raised his hand, a white light flickering.

"Bang!"

A Ki Blast struck Android 19's rotund body.

In an instant, his body vanished, leaving only his head, which Li Lin held in his hand.

Li Lin glanced at the still-conscious Android 19 and tossed him aside with indifference.

"Gulp!" Dr. Gero swallowed hard, cold sweat beginning to break out all over his body.

Never did he expect this young man to be so incredibly powerful.

Not only did he know their secrets, but he had also killed Android 19 with a casual flick of his hand.

This sudden turn of events caught him off guard, leaving him at a complete loss.

"Krillin!"

Li Lin shouted loudly.

Upon hearing this, Krillin cast a wary glance at Dr. Gero.

Seeing that the doctor was completely stunned, he bypassed him and flew directly toward Li Lin.

"What do I do? What should I do now? Should I really release those two?"

Dr. Gero began to struggle with his thoughts.

Krillin had arrived at Li Lin's side, his eyes filled with worry as he looked at Son Goku.

"Krillin, Son Goku is about to reach his limit. Take him home and get him his medicine immediately!"

Li Lin's expression was grave as he issued the order in a deep voice.

Looking at the dying Son Goku, Krillin hesitated no longer.

Staying here wouldn't help anyway; saving Son Goku was the priority.

"Alright, take care of yourselves!"

Krillin hoisted Son Goku onto his back, accelerated into the sky, and flew toward Son Goku's home.

Seeing Krillin leave with Son Goku, Li Lin nodded faintly.

He had his own selfish reasons for doing this; as long as Krillin was gone, whatever happened next would have nothing to do with him.

Seeing that Son Goku had left, Dr. Gero hesitated no longer.

"Whoosh!"

With a flash, he vanished from before the crowd and sped off toward the horizon.

"Damn it, don't let him get away!"

Piccolo finally snapped out of it and cursed under his breath.

Hearing this, the others prepared to give chase.

However, before they could move, a figure suddenly descended beside them.

The newcomer was none other than Vegeta, who had now mastered the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan.

His purpose in coming here was to destroy the Androids.

"Where are the Androids? Where are they? Come out and face your deaths!"

The others looked at Vegeta's overconfident demeanor, not knowing what to say.

Suddenly, he spotted Li Lin not far away and charged straight at him.

"I can transform into a Super Saiyan now! Hurry up and fight me again!"

Vegeta declared with immense confidence.

He wanted to wash away his past shame; even if he couldn't beat Li Lin, he wouldn't be hung up and beaten like last time.

Li Lin rolled his eyes at him and said calmly, "If you want to fight me, no problem, I welcome it anytime."

"But the priority right now is to defeat the Androids!"

"The Androids? Just leave them to me!" Vegeta was incredibly arrogant now, itching for a fight!

Li Lin pointed to a head nearby, "I've already dealt with this one, and the other one got away!"

As he spoke, he pointed in a certain direction.

Seeing that Li Lin had already taken one out, Vegeta felt deeply unconvinced.

He made a bold claim, "Leave the remaining one to me!"

With that, he flared his energy and chased off toward the horizon.

Li Lin shook his head helplessly as Piccolo, Gohan, and the others arrived at his side.

Li Lin looked at Gohan, who was following Piccolo, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

This Piccolo is truly the father in all but name, he thought to himself, Son Goku is nearly dead, yet he's still sticking by his real father.

Piccolo walked up to Li Lin and asked, "What do we do now?"

Without realizing it, they had begun to center themselves around Li Lin.

Li Lin smiled faintly and said, "Give chase, and let's finish them off in one go!"
