Unexpected Turn

After speaking, he took the lead and flew off.

Seeing this, the others said nothing more, followed Li Lin, and rushed forward together.

With such a powerful combatant among them, there was no need to worry about the threat of the Androids at all.

The group flew for a while before spotting Vegeta in the sky, constantly looking down at the ground below.

Unfortunately, this method did not work.

Dr. Gero was incredibly crafty; seeing the Ki Blast descending from the sky, he revealed himself in advance and stood exactly where the attack was going to land.

At the same time, he raised his right hand and absorbed every bit of the Ki Blast's energy.

Seeing this, Vegeta was practically bursting with rage.

"Swish, swish, swish!"

He fired off several more Ki Blasts in quick succession.

However, Dr. Gero was simply too cunning.

All of these attacks were absorbed by him as well.

After speaking, he looked down at the mountain range below.

Suddenly, his aura surged, and golden light began to shimmer in both of his hands simultaneously.

"Hada-da-da-da..."

Accompanied by his shouts, countless golden Ki Blasts rained down from the sky like a machine gun.

Seeing this move, Li Lin couldn't help but exclaim—wasn't this the legendary Prince Tactics?

He hadn't expected this to be the method he would choose.

Dr. Gero's eyes widened in shock when he saw this barrage.

The attacks were too fast and too dense; he could no longer absorb them as he had before.

"Boom, boom, boom!"

Explosions rang out across the mountain range.

Flames soared into the sky, turning the mountains a glowing red.

With nowhere left to hide, Dr. Gero was forced to fly back up into the sky.

Seeing his strategy work, Vegeta curled his lips into a smirk and said disdainfully, "Old man, didn't you love playing the turtle? Why aren't you hiding anymore?"

Seeing Dr. Gero finally reveal himself, the group swarmed him all at once.

Dr. Gero looked at the crowd eyeing him like predators, his heart filled with bitter misery.

Cold sweat poured down his body.

"Is this the strength of the Androids? I truly don't know how we in the future could have been wiped out by the likes of you!"

Vegeta continued to mock him with increasing intensity.

Dr. Gero listened in utter confusion; what future, what nonsense, what was this all about?

However, he had no mood to worry about such things now, only thinking of how to escape from the encirclement.

Vegeta saw that the other party had stopped speaking and shook his head in disappointment. "It seems this is where it ends!"

He raised his hand, intending to end the man's life.

Just then, a figure suddenly burst into everyone's line of sight.

After Li Lin saw the person's appearance clearly, he smiled faintly and said, "Trunks, you're here!"

Upon hearing this name, Vegeta's hand froze in mid-air.

He looked up at the mysterious youth who shared the same name as his son.

For a moment, he was dazed, as if he had suddenly realized something.

Trunks frowned, looked at Dr. Gero before him, and said slowly, "Who is this person?"

Vegeta was startled by these words and instantly snapped back to reality!

Before Trunks could explain, Piccolo spoke up first, "Li Lin said before that he is indeed an Android, but not one of the two from the future!"

Trunks focused his gaze on Li Lin, his inner confusion growing even deeper.

Seeing all eyes fixed on him, Li Lin spread his hands and explained, "I said before that these two Androids are too weak to possibly threaten the future, so the ones who bring chaos to the future must be someone else!"

After hearing Li Lin's explanation, Trunks nodded slowly; the logic held up.

"Mr. Li Lin is right; this person is indeed not the Android from the future!"

Trunks explained to the people around him.

At the same time, he gave everyone a rough description of the Androids' physical appearance.

Dr. Gero had no interest in listening to their discussion.

Seeing that everyone's attention was drawn to the youth who had suddenly appeared, he felt this was his chance.
