Trunks struggled to his feet, and seeing his father being held, he prepared to launch another attack.

Android 17, keenly observing this, swung his arms with great force.

Vegeta was sent hurtling directly into the rising Trunks.

The father and son were left dazed and battered.

Trunks lost his ability to fight, his Super Saiyan state instantly dissipating.

"Damn it!"

Blood trickled from the corner of Vegeta's mouth as he spoke in frustration.

He never imagined they would be defeated so miserably in this battle.

And that he, of all people, would be rendered completely helpless by a woman.

It was a humiliating disgrace!

"Whoosh!"

The more Vegeta thought about it, the more unwilling he was to accept it; he raised his hand and fired a Ki Blast.

But Android 17 was quite alert, leaping high into the air to successfully dodge the attack.

"Oh? Not bad, are you? But, this is where it ends!"

Android 17 brushed back her hair and said with a faint smile.

The next second, she appeared right in front of Vegeta.

"Bang!"

With one kick, she stomped heavily onto Vegeta's chest.

"Wah!"

Vegeta's eyes widened as he spat out a large mouthful of blood.

His aura weakened sharply, the golden flames vanished instantly, and he reverted to his base form!

Li Lin watched everything unfold quietly from the air.

He raised an eyebrow slightly, deciding it was time to stop watching the show.

"You two, that's enough. Please let them go now!"

Li Lin's tone was very flat, yet filled with an unquestionable authority.

Android 17 and Android 18 turned their heads in unison, and even Android 16, not far away, looked up toward the sky.

"Who is this person?"

Android 18 glanced at Li Lin, her eyes filled with confusion.

Because in her memory, there was no data on this person.

"Hey, who are you? I suggest you don't meddle in other people's business!"

Android 17 stared at Li Lin, his tone heavy.

He couldn't sense any aura from Li Lin, yet he vaguely felt that this guy was extremely dangerous.

It was the kind of danger that could threaten his very life.

What was even more fatal was that his mind contained absolutely no information about the person before him!

Before his words had even finished echoing, Li Lin appeared behind him in the next second.

"I won't meddle, but I'd appreciate it if you'd let go of the person in your hands!"

Android 17's heart jolted, the hair on his body standing on end. What? How could this person's speed be so fast?

He didn't dare stay so close to Li Lin and released Tien Shinhan.

He then retreated rapidly to the other side of the sky, watching Li Lin with eyes full of vigilance.

"Hah, huff."

After being released, Tien Shinhan gasped for fresh air, taking deep, ragged breaths.

Android 18 was currently feeling a great deal of shock.

Because she was positioned below, she had been able to see the situation clearly.

Yet, just a moment ago, she hadn't even caught how Li Lin had moved behind Android 17.

Or rather, Li Lin's speed had already surpassed her ability to perceive it!

It wasn't just her; even Android 16, who had been silent and reticent not far away, was no longer composed.

He was no longer as calm and unhurried as before, his eyes filled with vigilance.

It seemed as though he might launch an attack at any moment.

"Who are you?"

Android 17 posed his question.

Li Lin looked at him and said with a smile, "I'm just an ordinary Earthling!"

"An Earthling?" Android 17 was slightly stunned, then frowned, his tone unfriendly as he said, "Do you take me for a fool?"

Seeing Android 17 confronting Li Lin, Android 18 no longer paid any attention to Vegeta at her feet.

She flew directly into the sky, stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Android 17, and stared at Li Lin together.

"Heh!" Seeing Android 18 fly up, Li Lin smiled indifferently while explaining to Android 17, "I am indeed a native-born Earthling; there is no need for me to lie to you about that!"

Android 17 and Android 18 exchanged glances, clearly still unconvinced.

Li Lin shook his head helplessly and continued, "Forget it, there's no need to dwell on this. Release my companion, and then you may leave!"

Upon hearing Li Lin's words, the two were slightly taken aback.

Android 18 frowned and asked cautiously, "Are you not going to kill us?"

Hearing Android 18's question, Li Lin felt like laughing, but he slowly shook his head and said, "You haven't done anything evil, so why would I kill you?"

Li Lin continued to explain, then added, "Also, if you want to kill Son Goku, I won't stop you, provided you can actually defeat him!"

Android 18 nodded slightly, wanting to say something more.

But Android 17 tugged at her clothes, signaling her to stop talking.

At a time like this, why were they getting so chatty instead of making a quick escape?

"Alright, go now, or I might change my mind."

Li Lin put his hands behind his back, feigning an air of profound mystery.

Without another word, Android 17 grabbed Android 18 and took off.

As she left, Android 18 looked back once, only to see Li Lin smiling and nodding at her.

Oh no, I forgot to ask his name, Android 18 thought to herself.

Seeing the two successfully retreat, Android 16 breathed a sigh of relief, the vigilance in his eyes fading significantly.

The three of them glanced at Li Lin above one last time before flying off together into the distance.
