Another Time Machine

After the Androids left, Li Lin began checking everyone's injuries.

At the same time, he took Senzu Beans from his person and fed them to everyone one by one.

He had gotten these Senzu Beans from Krillin after sending him away. Now they had come in handy.

After eating the Senzu Beans, everyone gradually recovered.

"Ah! Damn it!"

After getting to his feet, Vegeta yelled at the sky.

He had transformed into a Super Saiyan and should have been able to show off his power and make a good impression.

But he never expected to lose so badly in his very first battle.

His pride made the defeat almost unbearable.

After his furious shout, Vegeta felt too embarrassed to stay and left at once.

Seeing his father like this, Trunks still wanted to chase after him, but thought better of it. He wasn't very close to him yet, and even if he caught up, he wouldn't be able to talk him into anything.

Then he turned to Li Lin and complained, "Mr. Li Lin, you're strong enough to take out the Androids. Why did you let them leave just now?"

Although Android 18 had knocked Trunks down earlier, his injuries weren't serious.

He had heard every word of the conversation between Li Lin and the Androids.

In his view, letting them go was a foolish decision. If he had that kind of strength, he would never do such a thing.

Seeing him complain, Li Lin smiled and shook his head. "Didn't you notice that the Androids in this timeline are different from the ones in your timeline?"

Trunks was taken aback, then asked in confusion, "How are they different?"

"They aren't as cruel and bloodthirsty as you said. They're more like humans—or, rather, they are humans."

Li Lin patiently explained it to him.

And it was true. The Androids in this timeline were very different from those in the world Trunks had come from.

Perhaps because he had traveled here, the Androids in this world weren't as cruel.

At least so far, they hadn't destroyed anything or killed anyone.

"But, Mr. Li Lin—"

Seeing Li Lin's attitude, Trunks wanted to say more.

But Li Lin waved a hand and cut him off. "Of course, if they do anything outrageous, I won't just stand by. But for now, I believe they're still good people."

Seeing there was no point in trying to persuade him, Trunks decided not to waste his breath.

He had also noticed that the Androids in this timeline really did seem different from those in his world.

The Androids in this world were extraordinarily powerful.

And they didn't seem as vicious as the ones in his timeline.

"Hey, let me make this clear. No matter what you think, if I run into them, I'll do everything I can to destroy them!"

Piccolo clenched his fists and gritted his teeth as he spoke.

He had already taken a hit to his pride. Facing the Androids, he had lost his ability to fight after just one attack.

His pride was no less than Vegeta's.

Just now, Kami had contacted him and said that they could merge to increase his strength.

Piccolo had accepted without hesitation. Once he merged with Kami, he wouldn't have to fear the Androids anymore.

After speaking, he released his energy and flew toward the Lookout.

"What should we do now?" Yamcha asked Li Lin.

Li Lin smiled. "Nothing much is happening now. Why don't we head back? There's no point staying here. As long as the Androids don't cause trouble, we can treat them like ordinary people!"

Tien Shinhan and Yamcha nodded in agreement.

They were still a little afraid of the Androids. As long as they didn't have to face them directly, everything would be fine.

Being able to go back was the best outcome.

Just then, a flying vehicle approached from the distance. Krillin was the one piloting it.

Son Goku had already been taken home and given his medicine. His condition was stable, and all they had to do was wait for him to recover.

Worried that the others wouldn't be able to handle the Androids, Krillin had decided to fly over right away.

"Where are the Androids? Where are they? Is everyone okay?"

Krillin got out of the vehicle and hurried over to ask.

Seeing that it was Krillin, Li Lin smiled and said, "Everyone's fine. The Androids have left, and there's no immediate danger. Let's head back."

After hearing Li Lin's explanation, Krillin rubbed his bald head in confusion.

For some reason, he felt as if he'd missed something.

But he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was!

And so, everyone boarded Krillin's flying vehicle and prepared to leave.

Suddenly, while they were flying, Bulma called. "Can you hear me? I have some breaking news you should hear!"

After hearing her, everyone gathered around, ready to find out what had happened.

On the other end of the call, Bulma looked at a set of pictures and said, "We just found a strange flying vehicle near a mountain!"

"The people patrolling the mountain contacted Capsule Corp. They said the vehicle has our company's logo and asked us to deal with it."

"But I noticed that while the pictures do show our company's logo, the vehicle's signal isn't from anything we've developed!"

Everyone was left confused.

What did this have to do with them? They didn't handle that sort of thing.

Only Li Lin, leaning against one side of the vehicle, smiled mysteriously.

If nothing unexpected had happened, this vehicle had also come from the future.

And the person who'd arrived in it was probably Cell from the future!

"Bulma, are you sure? What does this have to do with us?" Krillin asked in confusion.

Bulma replied calmly, "Don't rush me. Let me finish. Although our company didn't make this vehicle, I've seen Trunks ride in one before. It should be his Time Machine!"

Trunks was puzzled. He opened the equipment he carried with him.

He took out a Capsule and frowned. "That can't be right. My Time Machine has been with me the whole time. That one must not be mine."

Bulma wasn't surprised. She'd noticed that the Time Machine seemed to have been left there for a long time.

At the same time, she sent the pictures to the flying vehicle they were riding in.

After seeing them, Trunks looked surprised. "Th-this really is my Time Machine. What's going on?"

Bulma nodded on the other end. "It's okay. We'll know what's going on once we get there. Hurry over, and we'll go together!"
