"Then... what should we do now?"
Krillin panicked, asking helplessly.
"It's fine. Son Goku should have recovered by now. You all can sense his ki, right?"
Piccolo said to the group.
They nodded slowly.
The only good news right now was that Son Goku had recovered, which should be a great encouragement to everyone.
Just as they were discussing Son Goku, two figures, one large and one small, descended from the sky.
The arrivals were none other than Son Goku and his son, Son Gohan.
"Everyone, long time no see. How are you all doing?"
Son Goku waved at the group with a smile.
"Goku!" "It's Goku!"
Speak of the devil, and he shall appear; the gloom that had hung over the group was swept away.
While greeting everyone, Son Goku kept scanning his surroundings.
"Where is Li Lin? Where did he go?"
"Also, I heard from Master Roshi that a powerful new enemy has appeared!"
Son Goku asked a series of questions.
Faced with so many questions, Krillin walked up, punched him lightly, and replied with a smile, "That guy Li Lin doesn't know where he ran off to; we haven't seen him for three days!"
"After you collapsed, three extremely powerful Androids appeared. They are very formidable!" Piccolo took over, getting straight to the point. After a pause, he continued, "However, as of now, they haven't done anything evil, so we can set them aside for the moment."
Son Goku nodded slowly. "I know about that; Gohan already told me."
"What is the origin of that monster called Cell?"
Piccolo crossed his arms and began to explain in a low voice.
Upon hearing this, Son Goku's expression was quite different from the others; his eyes held a hint of excitement.
The battle-hungry genes in his body seemed to be stirring once again at this moment.
"What? Even someone as strong as you can't handle him?"
Son Goku said, somewhat surprised.
Piccolo's current strength was immense, surpassing his own.
If even he couldn't handle Cell, then he himself would likely be in trouble too!
Piccolo said helplessly, "That is the reality. The only way now is to find the Androids and destroy them to prevent Cell from growing any stronger!"
Son Goku didn't even hear the last sentence; he only registered that this Cell was currently very powerful.
Seeing Son Goku's expression, Krillin walked over, tugged on his clothes, and said with a strange look, "Goku, what's wrong with you? You look like you're actually quite happy."
"Huh?" Son Goku snapped out of it, scratching the back of his head. "Do I?"
Everyone shrugged, indicating that he was indeed very happy.
"Heh heh, I suppose so!" Son Goku didn't deny it, because that was exactly what he was thinking. He then continued to ask, "Where is Vegeta? Why don't I see him?"
"That guy went off to train. I heard he wants to surpass the Super Saiyan and reach a higher realm," Piccolo said calmly.
Upon hearing this, Son Goku became even more interested.
Surpassing the Super Saiyan—if possible, he wanted to do that too.
Because he was very dissatisfied with his current strength.
Moreover, besides Cell, there was also Li Lin, whose true strength remained unknown.
Although the latter was a friend, he didn't want to fall behind!
"Alright, everyone, I'm going to start training now. I'll leave the situation here to you for the time being!"
Son Goku said to the group.
With Li Lin's whereabouts unknown, he couldn't be relied upon for now.
He would have to rely on his own efforts to defeat the enemy.
Krillin rubbed his chin and asked skeptically, "Where are you going to train? The situation is critical; even if you train, how much can you really improve?"
The current situation was like sharpening a spear only when the battle was imminent.
Even if Son Goku had great talent for training, he couldn't make any significant progress in such a short time!
"I know of a place where one year of training is equal to one day in the real world," Son Goku said with a calm smile.
He had already found a solution when he thought about training.
As long as nothing major happened to Earth while he was training, he would have no reason to fear any crises on the planet once he returned.
The others were slightly startled when they heard this.
One year of training equal to one day in reality—did such a wonderful place really exist on Earth?
Piccolo felt no issue with this and asked directly, "Are you talking about the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in the Lookout?"
Son Goku nodded with a smile.
That was exactly where he meant; as long as he was given another year, he could face any enemy.
"I plan to take Gohan with me to train. I believe his talent is even greater than mine!"
"Who knows, in the end, we might even have to rely on him."
Son Goku patted Gohan's head and said with a smile.
The others smiled slightly upon hearing this, not taking it too seriously!
Only Piccolo firmly believed in his heart that his "son's" potential was limitless and that he would very likely surpass Son Goku!
"Fine, then go and train. Leave the matters on Earth to me!" Piccolo nodded and said.
He understood that although his strength was currently quite high, it would be extremely difficult to defeat Cell on his own.
However, this did not dampen his confidence; he would continue to track Cell and eliminate him in one fell swoop whenever possible.
"Then we'll see you later!"
Son Goku waved at the group and then used Instant Transmission to depart!
Watching Goku leave, the group fell into a long silence.
Then, Krillin broke the quiet, "Sigh, I really don't know where that guy Li Lin ran off to. If he were here, we wouldn't have to struggle so much!"
Piccolo agreed with Krillin's sentiment.
He hadn't thought much of it before, but now that his own strength had increased significantly, he realized just how terrifying the energy Li Lin had once exuded truly was.
As long as he was around, even the Androids and Cell combined wouldn't be enough to handle him alone.
"Stop thinking about it. We'd better rely on ourselves. That guy has all that power, yet he's the first one to go into hiding!"
Piccolo said indifferently.
"Do you think he might just be at home right now?" Krillin speculated.
On a plain hundreds of miles away.
Inside a simple capsule house!
"Achoo!"
Li Lin, lying on the sofa, couldn't help but sneeze and complained, "Is someone badmouthing me?"
He was currently enjoying a program playing on the television.
On the table sat a glass of half-finished orange juice.
His plan was simple, as there was nothing to do for the moment.
Rather than searching aimlessly, it was better to wait for them to emerge on their own.
Cell needed to absorb the Androids to evolve, so he only needed to show up when that time came.
Coming out now would be completely meaningless!
