After discussing it, everyone split up to search.
In their current situation, they needed to find Cell first. If they took another day to find him, who knew how many more Earthlings would suffer?
Just then, Vegeta arrived late. The moment he sensed the energy here, he rushed over!
"What happened here?"
Vegeta looked around and asked everyone.
At the same time, he glanced at Piccolo and was astonished to discover that his power had increased several times over, far surpassing his own.
"Y-Your power... How did it suddenly get so strong?"
Vegeta pointed at Piccolo and asked in surprise.
He had thought that after becoming a Super Saiyan, he would be invincible in this era.
His only opponent would be Kakarot, another Saiyan.
He just hadn't expected that first Li Lin, then the Androids, and now even this Namekian he had once looked down on would surpass him.
"Hmph!" Piccolo folded his arms and snorted haughtily.
His pride was hardly any less than Vegeta's.
Li Lin smiled faintly to himself. The Androids arc is probably Piccolo's last moment in the spotlight.
Seeing that his father was confused, Trunks stepped forward and carefully explained.
"Fused?"
"That's right. Mr. Piccolo has fused with Piccolo. The destruction here was caused by his fight with that monster named Cell!"
Trunks explained everything in detail, bit by bit.
Hearing that he had already been surpassed, Vegeta took another blow and stood rooted to the spot, stunned.
Piccolo walked up to everyone and said slowly, "Our top priority now is to kill Cell while he's still immature, or take out one of the Androids!"
"Go search for them. Once you find them, notify me immediately. I'll be the one to destroy him!"
With that, he took the lead and left.
He was now brimming with confidence in his own strength.
After hearing Piccolo's instructions, the others didn't immediately get moving. Instead, they all turned to look at Li Lin.
"Piccolo's right. Let's split up and search for now. Everyone, be careful!"

As soon as he finished, he flew away.
Although he'd said that, he didn't really mean it.
Whether it was the Androids or Cell, if they hid themselves, he wouldn't have an easy time finding them.
Rather than waste his time searching, he might as well go back and get some sleep.
With that thought, he sped up and flew quickly toward his home.
Seeing Li Lin leave, the people who remained behind decided not to linger either.
"I think Piccolo and Li Lin are right. Our main priority is to find the Androids and Cell. If we take out either side, there's still a chance to turn things around!"
Tien Shinhan said slowly.
The others silently nodded.
But just then, a voice of dissent rang out. "I disagree!"
Everyone turned around. It was Vegeta, who had been silent until now.
His face was full of anger. Clenching his fists, he roared, "A bunch of cowards! You're scared by a little crisis?"
"I'm telling you, so what if Cell reaches his Perfect Form? I'll beat him sooner or later!"
"If the power of a Super Saiyan isn't enough, then I'll surpass the Super Saiyan!"
After making his bold declaration, Vegeta's energy burst forth and shot into the sky. Then he vanished from sight.
Everyone stared at one another, completely baffled. They had no idea what had gotten into him this time.
Still, they knew that whenever Vegeta acted all high and mighty, things usually didn't end well for him!
They just didn't know how things would turn out this time.
"In that case, we'd better hurry up and search. Every extra day we waste gives Cell another chance to grow stronger!"
Krillin said to everyone.
After hearing him, they didn't stay where they were. They all took off in different directions.
Just as Krillin was about to leave too, he noticed Trunks standing there, frozen.
"What's wrong, Trunks? Aren't you coming with us?"
Krillin asked curiously.
Trunks slowly shook his head and said solemnly, "I'm going to train with my father!"
"What?" Krillin asked, confused.
By now, almost everyone knew that Trunks was Vegeta's son.
They just hadn't expected him to choose to train with Vegeta.
After all, Vegeta was already a little unhinged. If he completely lost his mind, he might even kill his own son!
Trunks nodded resolutely. "That's right. I'm going to train with my father. Krillin, I'll leave the search for Cell to you!"
With that, he shot into the air and chased after Vegeta.
His reasoning was simple: even if they resolved the problems in this timeline, the crisis in the Future Timeline would remain.
Only by becoming strong himself, like his father, and surpassing the Super Saiyan, could he avert the crisis in his own timeline.
"Ugh!" Krillin watched Trunks fly away and sighed helplessly.
Then he left without another moment's delay.
Meanwhile, Li Lin had already returned to his home. Goku's house was right next door!
But Son Goku had moved to Kame House by now. There was no one here but Li Lin!
"Good. I can enjoy a couple of quiet days!"
Li Lin stretched and yawned as he spoke.
Before long, he was lying in his room, happily falling asleep.
Three days later.
A violent earthquake erupted on Kame House Island.
Master Roshi was reading a magazine when his glasses fell off in fright.
His voice trembling, he said, "What's going on? Have the Androids attacked?"
As Goku's wife, Chi-Chi had been taking care of him here.
When she felt the strong tremors, she panicked too.
But when she went outside to look, she immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"Goku!"
Chi-Chi threw herself at him.
Goku smiled and held her.
The earthquake just now hadn't been caused by the Androids. He had caused it himself.
He had suddenly awakened just moments ago, his body brimming with energy. Unable to resist, he had tried out a few moves over the sea.
Meanwhile, everyone had spent three days searching for Cell.
They had run into him several times, but each time, he had cleverly escaped.
This left everyone thoroughly disheartened.
But just then, they sensed Goku's energy.
After their latest search came to an end, they gathered at the place where they had set out from.
"Things are very unfavorable for us now. Cell's power is probably about equal to mine!"
Piccolo told everyone in a low voice.
He had noticed that every time he fought Cell, Cell's power increased dramatically.
He estimated that Cell had harmed quite a few innocent people over these three days!
