Son Goku had already arrived where Vegeta was.
Vegeta stood upon a cliff, gazing into the distance, motionless.
Trunks stood behind him, silently watching his back.
"Trunks, how is your training going?" Goku asked, suddenly appearing beside them.
Trunks turned around in a hurry, and upon seeing it was Goku, a look of joy instantly appeared on his face.
"Father thinks I'm in the way and doesn't want to train with me," Trunks explained helplessly, then looked toward Vegeta on the cliff. "He's been standing there for three days and three nights!"
Seeing Vegeta so persistent, a hint of admiration stirred in Son Goku's heart. He said to Trunks beside him, "It's alright, I'll go talk to him."
After speaking, Goku gave a small hop and landed directly behind Vegeta.
Vegeta sensed Goku's energy but did not turn around immediately.
He was currently pondering how exactly to train to surpass the Super Saiyan level.
Moreover, it had to be done in a short amount of time, as the current situation was not optimistic and would not grant him much time for training.
"Vegeta, I know of a place where one year of training is equal to one day in the outside world. I wonder if you'd like to go?" Son Goku said, getting straight to the point.
Upon hearing this, Vegeta felt a slight stir in his heart.
He turned his head, looked at Goku's smiling face, and said coldly, "Where is it? Take me there!"
"Heh, I knew you'd be interested in this," Son Goku said with a faint smile, then pointed toward the sky. "That place is the Hyperbolic Time Chamber at the Lookout!"
Hearing this, Vegeta finally ceased his brooding, and the expression on his face softened somewhat.
Before he could ask exactly when they could go, Goku spoke again, "However, I don't intend to train with you, because that place can only accommodate two people at a time!"
"I want you and Trunks to go in and train together!"
Although Son Goku appeared rather foolish, at critical moments, he always had a solution.
The reason he did this was actually to ease the relationship between the father and son.
By letting them experience a year of training together, their relationship would surely not remain as stiff as it was now!
"Fine, I agree!"
Vegeta nodded in agreement without a second thought.
He then continued, "However, we must be the ones to go in first!"
He was currently thirsting for power and did not want to waste a single second.
If he were given a year, he was confident he could take down either the Androids or Cell.
If he let Goku go in first, and by the time he came out, Goku had already wiped out Cell and the others, what would be the point of him training then?
Seeing Vegeta agree, Son Goku replied with a smile, "It doesn't matter who goes in first. If you want to train, I can let you have the turn!"
And so, the two decided on their training plan.
At this time, the Androids had finally arrived at Goku's residence after several days of travel.
However, when they pushed open the door and entered the room, it was empty; they had come for nothing!
"Damn it, there's no one here!"
Android 17 kicked the door and said with a frown.
They had gone through the trouble of coming out, and all their time had been spent on the road; they hadn't arrived here immediately.
They hadn't expected Son Goku to be absent from his home, which left them feeling quite disappointed.
"Could Son Goku have gone to Master Roshi's place? According to my data, Master Roshi is Son Goku's teacher, and they are in frequent contact!" Android 16 said with a calm expression.
Android 17 nodded, thinking that made sense.
Because his own memory showed the same thing: when Son Goku was young, he had trained alongside Master Roshi.
At a time like this, it was most likely that he was hiding out at Kame House.
"Hey, look, there's a house over there. Why don't we go in and ask?"
Android 18 pointed to a simple dwelling nearby.
The area was desolate and uninhabited; whoever lived next to Son Goku must have an unusual relationship with him.
Rather than making another wasted trip, it was better to go and ask; there might be some clues!
Android 17 took a look and said indifferently, "Fine, let's go over and ask."
Android 16 had no objections and followed behind the siblings, walking silently.
When they reached a distance of two or three steps from the simple dwelling, Android 17 raised his finger, and a purple light flared.
"Whoosh!"
A beam of energy fired from his fingertip.
"BOOM!"
It hit the bullseye without a doubt, and the house instantly turned to ash amidst the flames and the roar of the explosion.
Android 18 frowned slightly after witnessing this. "Android 17, how could you? Weren't we supposed to go and ask questions? What are we going to do if you've killed him?"
Android 17's lips curled into a playful, cynical smirk as he turned his head. "I controlled my power perfectly; I wouldn't hurt anyone else!"
"I really don't know what to do with you!" Android 18 shook her head, speaking with a sense of helplessness.
At the same time, she turned around to look at the site of the explosion.
However, the moment she saw what was before her, her eyes widened instantly, and a flush of red appeared on her face!
After staring for a few seconds, she finally snapped out of it, covered her face, and turned away.
Seeing Android 18's strange behavior, Android 17 quickly looked over as well.
He was shocked by what he saw—how could it be this person?
Beside them, Android 16 had already assumed a combat stance early on, his eyes filled with gravity.
The one who had caused such a shift in their demeanor was none other than Li Lin, who had been staying at home.
"Hiss! Huff!"
Li Lin took a deep breath and said coldly, "So it was you lot. I was wondering who would launch a sneak attack while I was taking a shower! A fine tactic, truly a fine tactic!"
He had just been in the shower, brushing his teeth, singing a song, and fiddling with his little bird.
He had just lathered shampoo all over his head and hadn't even started rinsing when, suddenly, an explosion nearly scared him to death.
Now, his house was gone, his clothes were gone, he was completely naked, and he still had a giant glob of foam on his head.
"Uh, s-sorry. We didn't mean to; we didn't know that was your residence!"
Seeing that Li Lin looked ready to explode at any moment, Android 17 quickly lowered his head to apologize.
Li Lin unleashed a burst of energy, blowing away the water droplets and the foam on his head.
However, he remained stark naked, the cold wind whistling by, his upper and lower hair swaying in the breeze!
He slowly opened his mouth and said in a chilling voice, "Do you think an apology is useful now? And what do you mean you didn't know it was my residence? Are you saying it's fine to destroy someone else's home just because it isn't mine?"
The more Li Lin spoke, the angrier he became, stepping forward one pace at a time. "Let me tell you, no one has ever made me this angry before. You are the first. Are you prepared to bear the brunt of my fury?"
