Don't Come Over

Li Lin's aura surged continuously, whipping up a gale that sent shockwaves rippling in every direction.

Large swathes of the surrounding grass and trees were uprooted by the sheer force.

"My god, this energy... it's absolutely staggering!"

Android 17 raised his arm to shield his face, speaking in astonishment.

Thank goodness I didn't act rashly when we first met, he thought to himself.

Otherwise, he would surely be dead by now!

However, the current situation was hardly any better; he hadn't attacked back then, but now, the other party was about to strike.

"Impossible. This level of power completely exceeds all standard calculations!"

"There isn't a single person on Earth who could rival this strength!"

Light flickered rapidly in Android 16's eyes as he continuously analyzed Li Lin's current power level.

On the other side of the Earth.

Piccolo and his group felt the monstrous aura and looked up in shock.

"Is this... is this the energy Li Lin is emitting? Has he encountered an enemy?"

Krillin stared at the sky, his eyes wide.

After sensing it, Piccolo's heart sank. "I'm afraid so. This energy is even more terrifying than it was a year ago. It seems this guy's strength is truly frightening!"

"Then who is the enemy? Cell? Or the Androids?"

Yamcha's legs began to tremble as he asked in a nervous voice.

This level of power was far beyond what a character like him could participate in.

Regardless of who the enemy was, he had no intention of charging in; if possible, he wanted to leave this place immediately.

He would leave the life-risking work to these true powerhouses.

Piccolo sensed the aura and, after a brief moment of judgment, reached a conclusion. "It must be the Androids. If it were Cell, we should be able to sense his energy too, but right now, there is only Li Lin's presence!"

The group nodded in agreement upon hearing this explanation.

The Androids themselves possessed no energy, so even if they were encountered, they wouldn't be detected.

Cell was different; he had energy, and a slight scan would reveal his presence.

"No time to waste, let's hurry over there!"

Piccolo said in a low voice.

Searching for Cell these past few days had left him feeling restless.

He desperately wanted to engage in a hearty, exhilarating battle.

With that, he followed the direction of the energy and flew off at high speed.

The others hesitated for a moment before deciding to follow Piccolo.

High above at the Lookout.

Son Goku, Son Gohan, Vegeta, and Trunks had yet to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber when they sensed the energy.

"Is this Mr. Li Lin's energy? He's just too strong!"

Trunks said, his expression one of shock.

It was his first time feeling such immense power.

If he had this kind of strength, his future wouldn't have fallen into such a crisis.

At the same time, he couldn't help but complain about why there wasn't someone like Li Lin in his timeline.

If there had been, he wouldn't have had to work so hard, and the world wouldn't have turned into a post-apocalyptic nightmare.

"So, Li Lin is finally going to make a move?"

Son Goku said with an excited expression.

His memory of Li Lin's strength was still fresh.

As long as that monster took action, the crisis on Earth would be resolved in an instant.

Trunks, still immersed in his surprise, realized his father had already gone inside and hurriedly snapped out of it, rushing to follow him.

Mr. Popo, the servant of the Lookout, saw that the two had entered and closed the door behind them.

"Dad, do we need to go over and take a look? The direction of the energy seems to be our home!"

Son Gohan said with a happy expression on his face.

He had watched his father and Li Lin spar countless times before.

Every single time left him excited for ages, because Li Lin's strength was simply too overwhelming.

Hearing his son's words, Son Goku began to weigh his options; although he desperately wanted to go and watch the battle, his reason told him they had more pressing matters at hand.

"Gohan, stay here. We won't go over. Vegeta and the others could emerge at any moment, and our primary goal must remain improving our own strength!"

Son Goku said slowly.

His reasoning was simple: rather than seeking help from others, it was far more reliable to improve his own power.

Relying on Li Lin's strength might get them through this crisis, but what about the next time? Or the time after that?

Or what if Li Lin left and stopped helping them altogether? What would they do then?

Son Gohan felt a bit disappointed, but he still nodded and murmured, "I understand, Dad!"

Android 16 and Android 17 were now tense to the extreme, praying only that Li Lin would not take another step forward.

The pressure from just a moment ago had been truly terrifying, enough to leave him gasping for air.

"Put on clothes? You lot blew up my house, where am I supposed to get clothes?"

Li Lin said to them coldly.

However, there was no longer any anger in his heart; instead, there was a hint of joy.

He hadn't expected Android 18 to see his magnificent physique, and he felt a strange sense of excitement.

"I'll pay, I'll pay, I'll pay!"

Android 17 waved his hands frantically.

At a time like this, he had to appease him; after all, he had only just been released and didn't want to meet his end so soon.

As he spoke, he carefully observed Li Lin.
