"Li Lin, what should we do now? Cell has run off; do we need to chase after him?"

Krillin asked Li Lin, his voice trembling with anxiety.

He was still shaken by what had just happened, and if it were up to him, he would never want to face that monster again.

These matters were better left to Goku and the others, or to powerhouses like Li Lin.

"It is of no consequence!" Li Lin waved his hand dismissively and said calmly, "Do not follow; it is too dangerous. I will go and end that monster's life myself."

He could clearly see the fear in the eyes of Krillin and Yamcha.

Regardless, things had progressed far enough; it was time to bring this to an end.

Krillin and Yamcha looked at each other and nodded.

Krillin added, "Alright, then take care of yourself!"

"Mn!" Li Lin responded indifferently, then his figure flickered and vanished from the island.

After rescuing Tien Shinhan and Piccolo, Goku had first stopped by Korin Tower to request two Senzu Beans. Once fed to them, the two had recovered completely.

Afterward, the three of them arrived at the Lookout together.

Not long after, Mr. Popo, his skin pitch-black, walked up to Goku and said, "The two of them have finished their training!"

"Oh, really!" Son Goku raised an eyebrow and said happily.

As the words fell, the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber slowly creaked open, revealing a sliver of light from within.

Then, two figures slowly stepped out.

It was Vegeta and Trunks. Their clothes were already tattered and torn, but their auras had become significantly more profound.

"Wow, you two have truly become much stronger!"

Son Goku said to them with excitement.

Trunks nodded with a smile and began to recount the arduous training he had endured inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

The others nodded repeatedly as they listened, sighing at how difficult it must have been for him.

"Good!" Son Goku cupped his fists and said earnestly, "Now it is our turn!"

Vegeta looked at Son Goku's excited expression, his face cold and arrogant as he said, "There is no point in you going anymore, because I am already the strongest!"

His strength had improved by leaps and bounds.

He believed he had already surpassed the Super Saiyan level; as long as he was around, he alone was enough to deal with any enemy on Earth!

"Tch!" Piccolo looked at Vegeta's arrogance and felt nothing but disdain.

He didn't want to try and talk sense into him anymore; he just hoped that when they encountered Cell, he would give him a sound thrashing!

After the two changed into fresh clothes, Vegeta prepared to depart, boasting, "Now, it is time for me to show off my true power!"

With that, he flared his aura and flew off in the direction of Cell.

Trunks intended to go with him, and after Son Goku gave him two Senzu Beans, he hurried off as well.

Son Goku watched them leave and said to Gohan beside him, "Let's go, it's our turn, Gohan!"

"Mn!" Son Gohan nodded, and the two then entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber!

Above the ocean, Vegeta sensed Cell's aura and was closing in at full speed.

Cell was currently hunting for Android 18 and had reached a cluster of scattered small islands.

He circled the area incessantly, trying to track down her whereabouts.

The current situation allowed him no leisure, for the aura he had sensed earlier might arrive at any moment.

Furthermore, in the distance, two other powerful auras were flying toward his location.

If he didn't find her soon, he feared he would lose his chance!

"Android 18, come out this instant! Otherwise, I will destroy everything here!"

Cell switched to his "loudspeaker" mode, shouting across the vast, empty ocean.

He was incredibly anxious now, and seeing that his shouts went unanswered, he stopped wasting his breath.

He began firing wave after wave of energy blasts at the nearby islands.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

The entire sea area was filled with the sounds of explosions.

In an instant, smoke billowed everywhere, and many islands were reduced to dust in the blink of an eye!

Vegeta, not far away, sensed Cell's aura and the corners of his mouth curled upward, thinking that Cell was nothing special after all.

"Bang!"

The white aura around his body instantly transformed into a golden flame, and in a flash, he arrived right in front of Cell.

By now, only one island remained of the archipelago, ravaged and broken. If things went as expected, Android 16 and Android 18 should be hiding right here.

Cell narrowed his eyes as he watched Vegeta approach at high speed, saying indifferently, "If I recall correctly, you must be Vegeta. Why have you come here to seek your own death?"

Vegeta replied with a sneer, "Seek my death? I think you've got that backward. I'm here to send you to yours!"

"Heh! Very well!"

Cell smiled thinly. In his estimation, Vegeta's strength was inferior to the Androids, so he certainly wasn't a match for him.

With only one island left, Android 18 had to be hiding here.

However, while Vegeta was easy to deal with, there was a super-powered individual hidden nearby, so he had to finish this fight quickly!

The two of them slowly descended onto the island.

Android 18 was currently hiding behind a rock. Seeing that it was Vegeta who had arrived, she was extremely surprised.

Android 16 leaned against the rock, looked up at Android 18, and asked, "Who has come? Is it him?"

As the voice faded, a man appeared beside them.

The two of them were like startled birds, immediately tensing up in vigilance.

However, hindered by Cell's presence nearby, they kept their movements subtle.

Android 18 turned around, and the look of terror on her face was quickly replaced by a flush. Seeming to recall something, she darted her eyes away and asked, "Why are you here?"

The newcomer was none other than Li Lin. He had intended to intervene when Cell was destroying the islands.

Who would have thought Vegeta would suddenly appear? He decided to leave the opportunity to him instead.

He had simply gone straight to their hiding spot.

"Why couldn't it be me? I saw you were in danger and came specifically to protect you!" Li Lin said with a faint smile.

Hearing Li Lin's words, Android 18's cheeks turned even redder.

For a moment, she didn't know how to respond!

Her heart began to race, and she even started to wonder: did he say that because he liked her?

Li Lin had no idea what she was thinking. He gave a small hop and sat on the rock they were hiding behind, then gestured for them to join him. "Aren't you two coming up to watch? The show is about to start!"
