Looking at his confident smile, Android 18 felt a sense of reassurance take root in her heart, and she was no longer quite as afraid. "Alright!"

Having said that, she hopped onto the rock and sat shoulder-to-shoulder with Li Lin.

Because Android 16 was already injured and had limited mobility, he simply didn't climb up, choosing instead to lean against the rock and continue resting.

"By the way, I haven't asked your name yet," Android 18 asked, turning her head.

Li Lin smiled and answered calmly, "My name is Li Lin."

"Li Lin." Android 18 silently repeated the name in her heart.

She looked at Li Lin's composed expression, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Do you think Vegeta can beat Cell?"

This was the question weighing on her mind; after all, she had soundly thrashed Vegeta just a few days ago.

Was it really going to be okay for him to come and fight Cell now?

"Of course. The Vegeta of today is very different from the one you encountered a few days ago. If nothing goes wrong, Cell is going to get beaten quite badly," Li Lin said with a faint smile.

Having spent so much time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, even if he hadn't reached the strength of a Super Saiyan 2, bullying the current Cell shouldn't be a problem.

Just as they were speaking, Trunks descended from the sky.

He had followed Vegeta to this small island.

Watching the people gathering here, Android 18 asked with some concern, "Is it really okay for us to stay here?"

Li Lin smiled and shook his head. "Of course. We are still some distance away from them, and they can't sense our energy, so it's perfectly fine!"

The rock they were sitting on was not located on flat ground.

Seeing Android 18's furrowed brows, Li Lin assumed she was still worried about her own safety and murmured, "Even if they do notice us, so what? If anyone wants to hurt you, they'll have to step over my dead body!"

Sure enough, upon hearing this, Android 18 felt much more at ease, and her furrowed brows smoothed out.

She glanced at Li Lin; although she didn't say anything, she was deeply moved.

Back on the field, Vegeta and Trunks stood side by side, staring ahead.

"Heh, another one has arrived!" Cell sneered.

He kept sensing the surrounding energy, but that aura from before, which had left him with lingering fears, was nowhere to be found.

This discovery made him breathe a sigh of relief. He even wondered if he had been under too much pressure and had been hallucinating.

Regardless, Cell resumed his arrogant posture. "Come at me together!"

Vegeta said haughtily, "To deal with you, I alone am enough. He is merely watching the battle!"

As he finished speaking, a golden tidal wave erupted from his body.

The earth-shattering energy caused the surrounding space to begin to distort.

"Haa!"

With a roar from Vegeta, dense sparks of lightning began to discharge from his body.

Immediately, the lightning vanished, and his muscles instantly expanded by about double.

Li Lin watched Vegeta with interest and nodded silently to himself. It seems this Vegeta's talent is quite good. This state can be considered touching the threshold of Super Saiyan 2.

However, there still seems to be a very large gap to the true Super Saiyan 2!

On the battlefield, Vegeta had adjusted his state to the peak.

Suddenly, he lunged forward and landed a punch directly into Cell's abdomen.

"What!"

Cell's eyes widened in disbelief, and he retreated several steps.

"It's not over yet!" Vegeta rushed forward again, landing an uppercut that sent Cell flying.

Before Cell could react, Vegeta leaped up and followed with a knee strike.

Cell's mouth hung open from the impact. He wanted to ask why the Vegeta of this timeline was so fierce!

Unfortunately, no one answered him. Vegeta grabbed his ankle and threw him downward with force.

Cell slammed heavily into the ground, face-first.

"Damn it!"

Lying on the ground, Cell grabbed a handful of sand with his hands.

Then, he suddenly shot into the sky to resume the battle.

Cell was now extremely furious, his hands balled into fists as he launched a relentless barrage of attacks.

However, no matter how he attacked, Super Vegeta dodged them all with ease.

While evading the strikes, Super Vegeta's body steadily closed the distance toward Cell.

In an instant, Cell, despite being the aggressor, hadn't landed a single blow and was instead being forced to retreat step after step!

"Damn it!" Cell felt helpless; after throwing one more punch, he quickly put some distance between them.

"Whoosh!"

Cell opened his hideous maw and fired a red energy beam.

"Boom!" The attack hit its mark perfectly!

"Did I get him!" Cell looked overjoyed to have finally landed a hit.

However, he didn't have long to celebrate.

The next second, Super Vegeta's body moved like lightning, slamming a fist into his face.

"Ah!"

Cell let out a pained cry and plummeted to the ground.

Super Vegeta hovered in the air, arms crossed, slowly descending with a sneer on his lips. "If you have any other tricks, bring them out!"

Unconvinced, Cell stood up and gathered his power once more.

The ki within his body surged to a higher level in an instant.

After powering up, Cell lunged forward and punched Super Vegeta in the face.

Super Vegeta lost his footing, stumbling back two steps as blood began to trickle from the corner of his mouth.

"Heh!" Super Vegeta wiped the blood away, his expression still one of contempt.

Cell recoiled in horror, taking two steps back. He had put every ounce of his strength into that punch.

And yet, the result was merely pushing him back two steps and drawing a trickle of blood?

"Are you really Vegeta?" Cell asked, his voice trembling.

Possessing this level of strength—this was not the man he remembered.

Super Vegeta pointed at himself with a look of arrogance. "That's right, I am indeed not Vegeta. I am Super Vegeta!"

Sitting on a rock in the distance, Li Lin couldn't help but laugh upon hearing this.

How did he come up with that name? Was this the legendary "Super Duper Vegeta"?

Cell was unwilling to accept this. He remembered that in the future, Vegeta had been killed by Android 17, and since he had now absorbed Android 17, why couldn't he defeat him?

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became, his hands clenching so tightly that purple blood even began to seep out.
