Super Duper Vegeta

Android 18 looked at his confident smile and seemed to find some courage. She wasn't so afraid anymore. "All right!"

With that, she hopped onto the rock and sat down beside Li Lin.

Since Android 16 was already injured and couldn't move easily, he simply stayed where he was, leaning against the rock and continuing to rest!

"By the way, I haven't asked your name yet," Android 18 said, turning to him.

Li Lin smiled and answered calmly, "My name is Li Lin!"

"Li Lin." Android 18 silently repeated his name to herself.

Seeing how composed Li Lin looked, she raised an eyebrow and asked, "Do you think Vegeta can beat Cell?"

That was what she was wondering. Just a few days ago, she had beaten Vegeta up badly.

Now he was going to fight Cell. Would he really be all right?

"Of course. The Vegeta here now is very different from the one you faced a few days ago. If nothing unexpected happens, Cell is going to get beaten pretty badly!"

Li Lin said with a faint smile.

He had spent a long time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Although he hadn't reached Super Saiyan 2, he should still be able to trounce Cell as he was now.

As they talked, Trunks descended from the sky.

He had followed Vegeta to this island.

Looking at all the people gathering here, Android 18 asked with some concern, "Is it really safe for us to stay here?"

Regardless, Cell regained his arrogant air. "Both of you, come at me together!"

Vegeta said haughtily, "I'm enough to deal with you. He's just here to watch!"

As soon as he finished speaking, a golden torrent of energy erupted from his body.

His earth-shaking aura made the surrounding space begin to distort.

"Haah!"

Vegeta roared, and dense bolts of lightning began to crackle around him.

Then the lightning vanished, and his muscles instantly swelled to nearly twice their size.

Li Lin watched Vegeta with interest and silently nodded. Vegeta's talent is pretty good. This form means he's managed to reach the threshold of Super Saiyan 2.

Still, he's a long way from the real thing!

On the battlefield, Vegeta had brought himself into peak condition.

Suddenly, he rushed forward and punched Cell right in the stomach.

"What!"

Cell's eyes widened in disbelief as he staggered backward a few steps.

"It's not over yet!" Vegeta charged in again and uppercut Cell, sending him flying.

Before Cell could react, Vegeta leaped after him and followed up with a knee strike.

Cell's mouth gaped open as he was pummeled. He wanted to ask why Vegeta in this timeline was so powerful!

Unfortunately, no one was going to answer him. Vegeta grabbed his ankle and slammed him down with all his might.

Cell crashed face-first into the ground.

"Damn it!"

Lying facedown, Cell dug his hands into the sand.

Then he suddenly shot into the sky to continue the fight.

Cell was furious. His hands clenched into fists, and he attacked relentlessly.

But no matter how he attacked, Vegeta dodged with ease.

As he evaded each strike, Vegeta kept closing in on Cell.

For a while, Cell was on the offensive, yet not a single blow landed. Instead, he was forced to retreat again and again!

"Bastard!" Cell could see no other choice. After throwing a punch, he quickly pulled back to create some distance.

Whoosh!

Cell opened his disgusting mouth and fired a red beam.

Boom! The attack hit squarely!

"Did it work?" Cell was thrilled to see that he had finally hit his target.

But he didn't get to enjoy it for long.

The next second, Vegeta's body flashed like lightning, and his fist slammed into Cell's face.

"Ah!"

Cell cried out in pain and crashed to the ground.

Vegeta slowly descended through the air with his arms folded across his chest, a scornful smile playing at the corner of his mouth. "What other tricks have you got? Use them all!"

Cell refused to accept defeat. He got back up and gathered his strength again.

His energy rose another level in an instant.

After powering up, Cell lunged forward and punched Vegeta in the face.

Vegeta lost his footing and staggered back two steps, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

"Heh!" Vegeta wiped the blood from his lip, still wearing a contemptuous smile.

Cell took two frightened steps backward. He had just put all his strength into that punch.

And all it had done was push Vegeta back two steps and draw a little blood?

"Are you really Vegeta?" Cell asked, his voice trembling.

With power like that, he wasn't anything like the man Cell remembered.

Vegeta pointed at himself with a smug look. "That's right. I'm not just Vegeta. I'm Super Vegeta!"

Hearing that from the distant rock, Li Lin couldn't help laughing.

How had Vegeta come up with that name? Was this the legendary "Super Duper Vegeta"?

Cell wasn't willing to accept this. He remembered that in the future, Android 17 had killed Vegeta. He had absorbed Android 17 now, so why couldn't he beat Vegeta?

The more he thought about it, the angrier he got. His hands clenched so tightly that even purple blood began to seep out.
