Radiance erupted from his entire body, the shockwave powerful enough to scatter the clouds in the sky!

Vegeta did not know what changes Cell was undergoing, but the Ki Blast in his hand gradually dissipated.

He crossed his arms over his chest, watching the scene before him with keen interest.

He could tell that the Ki within Cell was rising steadily and without end.

Trunks stared with burning eyes, equally unaware of what was happening to Cell.

Yet, a sense of foreboding took root in his heart, and it was not without cause.

It was an instinct honed through years of life-and-death battles; he knew that if Cell were allowed to continue like this, the Earth would likely fall into crisis.

"Die!"

Trunks raised his hand and fired several Ki Blasts.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Cell stood motionless, allowing the Ki Blasts to strike him, but these attacks seemed to have no effect on him whatsoever.

Gradually, his body began to recover, and his muscles started to swell.

Lightning began to crackle in the surroundings, and the sky turned a gloomy gray.

Seeing that his attacks were ineffective, Trunks was shocked. "No, I can't let Cell continue like this!"

With that thought, he lunged forward.

However, before he could even get close, he was sent flying by the massive aura erupting from Cell.

He couldn't move a single step forward.

"Haa!"

Cell's eyes flashed with an eerie light as he roared toward the sky.

In an instant, the Ki within his body rose to yet another level.

The entire Earth began to tremble; no matter where they were, almost everyone could feel this aura.

In West City, on a bustling commercial street.

Li Lin was holding Android 18's hand; they had just finished eating and were planning to stroll around.

But at that moment, they too felt the aura.

The ground beneath them shook violently!

"Is this... Cell?" Android 18 looked at Li Lin and asked, puzzled.

Li Lin sensed it carefully, then nodded and said seriously, "Yes, this Ki—it must be him!"

This aura was a level stronger than when he had dealt with him before.

If nothing went wrong, it should be comparable to the power of his Perfect Form.

He began to wonder what on earth that guy Vegeta had done to Cell.

Ever since he had left, he had been able to feel Vegeta's violent aura constantly.

Just a moment ago, Cell's weak aura had nearly vanished, and then this monstrous power had surged forth.

"Could it be that he has reached his Perfect Form?"

Android 18 said, uncertain.

This Ki was many times stronger than it had been when they left.

To improve so much in such a short time, only reaching the Perfect Form could achieve such a result.

Li Lin nodded and said calmly, "That possibility cannot be ruled out!"

If the story followed its original path, by the end of the Cell Saga, he would have been beaten by Gohan until he spat out Android 17 and Android 18. Yet, at the very last moment, after self-destructing and regenerating through his core, he was still able to reach his Perfect Form.

"How can this be? Wasn't it said that he had to absorb me and Android 17 to become his Perfect Form?"

Android 18 said, finding it hard to believe.

The aura was truly astonishing; anyone who felt it could sense the terror within it.

Li Lin thought for a moment and explained slowly, "It's likely because he possesses Saiyan blood. Every time he recovers from the brink of death, his strength increases significantly. Once his combat power reached a certain critical point, he naturally transformed into his Perfect Form."

He looked into the distance, paused, and then added, "Vegeta's aura has been erupting non-stop this whole time. I suspect he was relentlessly brutalizing Cell, and since Cell kept recovering, it eventually caused his power to grow exponentially!"

His explanation was quite logical.

As long as the core inside Cell remained intact, with the regenerative bloodline of Piccolo and the bloodline of a Saiyan, he was a bug that could increase his strength infinitely!

Given such a setup, it was no surprise that he could eventually transform into his Perfect Form.

"Then what should we do? Will he hurt you?" Android 18 asked with concern.

After all, Li Lin had beaten him quite miserably before; if he were looking for revenge, he would certainly target him first.

At the same time, she kept cursing Vegeta in her heart for being an idiot—why didn't he just finish him off instead of letting things turn out like this!

Li Lin smiled faintly, shook his head, and stroked her silky hair. "Don't worry, even if Cell reaches his Perfect Form, he is still no match for me."

"If we were to clash, his outcome wouldn't be any better than last time."

Hearing Li Lin speak with such confidence, Android 18 felt much more at ease.

Li Lin smiled and shook his head. "Let Vegeta deal with him for now. Let's just enjoy ourselves for a few days first."

Android 18 nodded gracefully.

Just as everyone else was lamenting whether the end of the world had arrived, the two of them wandered around like a normal couple, completely indifferent to the events unfolding before them.

At the Lookout, Son Goku and Son Gohan continued their training inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, completely unaware of what was happening in the outside world.

However, Piccolo, standing at the edge of the temple, had been observing the world below.

When he saw Cell erupt with such a formidable aura, his entire face turned green with terror.

"That idiot Vegeta, why didn't he just kill Cell? He let his own petty grievances ruin everything and turn the situation into this!"

Piccolo let out a cold snort, gritting his teeth as he spoke.

When he saw Li Lin take action, he had assumed the matter was settled.

In fact, it was; Cell's power was pathetic in the face of Li Lin.

He just hadn't expected that even after Cell had been crippled, Vegeta wouldn't use his full power to annihilate him.

Instead, he kept toying with him, which had led to the current situation where Cell was now trending toward his Perfect Form.

"It's infuriating! It's absolutely infuriating!" Piccolo was so angry he felt like smoke was coming out of his ears, pacing back and forth.

If this had been before, he never would have acted this way.

But after merging with the Guardian, his heart had become much kinder.

The reason he was so angry was his concern for the indelible consequences this would have on the humans of Earth.
